I started promoting Pride of Nottingham around December, it wasn't a good time for a site with our title. It received some eyebrow raising comments early on but even then I felt that we could come good. If I think back, for myself the point it became concerning was when speculation started spreading around with regards to Lee Hughes future. The passion from this point just seemed to be draining, the players seemed to have lost hope and when this happens any prospect for promotion must really bAdded by Chris

If we couldn't do anything with arguably the best player in the division in Judge last season, how were we to fare without him and, yet worse, with very little cash to spend? The lack of transfer activity at the start of the summer heightened concern, particularly when a discarded Aston Villa trainee in Malcolm Melvin and an unwanted journeyman in Andy Haworth became our first two signings - and the only two for a while. But suddenly things changed. The arrival of striker Danny Haynes, and theAdded by ncfcdrapes

Notts County put in a woeful performance as Crewe Alexandra ran out 3-0 winners over the Magpies in Saturday's League Two clash at Gresty Road. Motherwell loanee Taylor-Sinclair got the scoring underway with his header into the far corner of Alex Palmer's net from Charlie Kirk's delivery following a short corner routine. Although Notts had a couple of chances, the Railwaymen doubled their lead on 77 when Ryan Wintle turned in Perry Ng's pull-back from close range. Substitute JamesUpdated by PON_News

When Robert Jackson's second son, Oliver, was born in 2015 and was diagnosed with Down's Syndrome, his father was unsure what services were available out there to help Oliver get the best possible start in life. A fellow parent then suggested the Rutland House School for Parents, and since then Oliver and his family have never looked back. The SFP began life in 1978 as the Rutland House School. We're just over a quarter of the season through and Notts County continue to sit nicely in the top three of League Two. However, alarm bells have started ringing ever so slightly as the Magpies have made a hash of their last two games, losing at Mansfield and scraping a draw with Forest Green. Another weekend, another chance. Up next are Barnet, another seemingly "winnable" game, but of course Notts need to take caution given their blip. Notts County entered October at the top of League Two, although they were left reeling from a 3-1 derby defeat at Mansfield Town, with the scoreline only marginally better thanks to Carl Dickinson's late consolation. However, being brought back down to earth could be beneficial in the long term as it showed the Magpies players that great form and momentum can come crashing to a halt, so back to the drawing board.
