Firstly, could you tell prideofnottingham.co.uk a little about yourself, such as how long you've been a fan for? Been a fan since the early 70's. Moved around the country alot in 80's, 90's an 00's so didn't get to see that many home matches but always saw them if they were playing nearby. Moved back to midlands three years ago and get to most home matches and local derbies. I keep reading comments from Saddlers fans regarding your good form, can you tell about the past 3 games and how importa

This time last year Walsall found themselves in a similar position to Notts, however it is vastly different at the club this season. The Saddlers are concerned that they don't have enough fire power upfront and the arrival of Tom Bradshaw in the summer has given them a striker who knows how to find the net. However the Saddlers are still struggling and are only 1 point away from the drop zone, with all to play Pride of Nottingham catches up with sadlad.  &

Introduction: Name: Lee Witts. How long have you supported Swindon Town? I’ve supported Swindon since I was about four years old. Are you a season ticket holder? I’m not a season ticket holder because I have a young child at home who is too young to go to games at the moment. However, I go to most home games and some away games, including some long ones. Age? 29. Favourite Player? The legends Don Rogers and Sam Parkin. How do you feel about Swindon Town’s performanc

Notts County obviously come into this game in a very similar situation, after lost their opening two games and coming away from Walsall having earned a draw. Stevenage haven't yet collected a single point, as they have lost all three of their opening games. They lost 3-4 to Oldham on the 3rd of August and narrowly lost by one goal each to Swindon and Leyton Orient. Pride of Nottingham's taken the time to speak with traveling fan Gareth, who has kindly taken time out of his evening to answ

Ahead of our clash against Portsmouth FC, we've decided to ask a series of questions to Pompy fan WhoIzzet. Notts have suffered a turbulent period recently and whilst Pompy reside in the relegation places, both will be striving for the full 3 points this Saturday. Notts have beaten Pompy on two occasions this season already, but with Bury away at MK Dons, Portsmouth fans will see this as a fantastic opportunity to make ground in their search for maintaining their League One status. Stevenage FC come into the game having impressively defeated play-off chasing Swindon Town at home 2-0. The struggling League One team who currently sit bottom of the table, find themselves in a similar situation as ourselves. On Saturday the 4th of January 2014, Stevenage FC managed to beat Doncaster Rovers in the 4th round of the F.A cup by 3 goals to 2. Prior to their win against Swindon Town in the league, Stevenage have struggled to pick up points having lost 3 games and drawing 2. P

It just gets better and better for Notts, who sit proudly atop the League Two table following impressive wins over Lincoln City and Exeter City. But now, arguably the biggest clash of the season for the Magpies, a trip to the One Call Stadium to face Mansfield Town this Saturday. Pride of Nottingham spoke to well-known photographer, Billy Davies 'nemesis' and Stags fan Dan Westwell to get the lowdown on his beloved team. Background: 43 years old, first Stags game 1986. Firstly, could you tell prideofnottingham.co.uk a little about yourself, such as how long you've been a fan for? Linsbord; I just turned 50 and my first game watching United was in November 1971 when we beat Ipswich 7-0. I thought football was great but I've been waiting for a similar performance since. YouFUMS; I was born a Blade in 1965, and I must have been to my first game around 4 years later. My grandad was a keen football fan, and used to take me along to Bramall lane with him. My earl

Carlisle seem a little inconstant at the moment, similar to Tranmere they can score but they have issues at the back which is for Notts to expose on Saturday. Nobody can questions them as a football outfit, as they have beaten Sheffield United already and a lose to Port Vale, just shows the level of inconstancy. Notts on the other hand are looking up at them literally and on the back of one impressive display, isn't enough to say this game will be easy. We've taken the time to speak to tw

For all the excitement of reaching the third round of the FA Cup (and the ensuing anti-climax at drawing Brentford away), all that must now be stashed away until next month because now it's time to refocus on the league. And as fixtures go, this weekend's encounter is probably the most taxing we are bound to have all season (except for an away derby) - Luton Town away. The Hatters are top of League Two and their goal difference is frightening - they've been smashing goals in all season

The Magpies' take on Luton Town tomorrow at the Kenilworth Road Stadium, which will be the second time Notts have played them within the 2015/16 season. On Saturday 12th September 2015, Notts managed to defeat Luton Town at Meadow Lane after enjoying a 2-0 lead upto the 71st minute, when the Hatters responded and then quickly drawn level on the 76th minute. Liam Noble sealed all three points by scoring in the final seconds, the final score 3-2 to Notts County.

How good does it feel to be a Notts County fan right now? Kevin Nolan has masterminded an epic climb to the top of League Two, the foundations of the club appear steady from top to bottom, and every so often a nice little bit of PR in the form of, say Matt Tootle's goal celebration, gives the club exposure on a global scale. But it's still early days, and tonight, the Magpies will be given their harshest test, taking on previous fourth-tier leaders and current second-placed side Exeter

Being 2nd in League One with a game in hand of the 1st place Swindon Town, Robins fans have every right to be exited about this seasons campaign. Bristol City have lead the division and put together several impressive displays, as they hover around the two top positions. Pride of Nottingham's taken the time to ask several questions to Robin's fan 'Hodge' who is currently exiled away from the club in which he supports.   Firstly, co

Pride of Nottingham returns with the 'Opposition View' prior to the game against Swindon Town, We've taken the time to ask a series of questions to medievalmikey. Notts have found a good string of form in away games, Saturday may prove to be a challenge. Swindon Town come into the game having previously beaten Yeovil 2-0 and narrowly losing to Brentford before that. As the season dwindles all games begin to be play there part, hopefully we can get something out of the game! Who knows if J

The upcoming local derby between Notts County and Mansfield Town has been labelled by magpies boss Ricardo Moniz as having “No difference between Arsenal and Spurs” and in fact mentioned “This club is also big”. Notts County have the foundation of having impressive performances under their belt, whilst Mansfield are yet to win within the 2015-16 season. Pride of Nottingham has taken the time to put several questions to one of the most reco

Swindon Town find themselves in fine form, however a small blip to the hands of Cheltenham Town in the F.A Cup saw them knocked out having conceded 5 goals and scoring none in the process. However, the Robins have picked up some very impressive victories so far this season.
