Cal Roberts played the whole 90 minutes... But only just... He took some hammer from the Welsh defence.... I wonder why he hasn't started for Notts just lately... Perhaps the rumours have some substance!!!!!!!!!

I didn't see the games but I saw quite a few comments on FB saying that Cal Roberts was the best English player on the pitch. He didn't look like a player returning from a knock or an injury. Of course he may have been ill or as you say, maybe there is more to this than we know.

England C were abysmal. The defence and keeper (Scott Loach) were an absolute shambles. Cal Roberts looked like at least two levels above anybody else playing in white. Perhaps the Welsh leagues are something Football Radar should have an in-close look at.

Yeah it wasn't great to watch from a NL perspective. Thought the Welsh No.11 put himself around and got two good goals, was it just a case of turning up for the cameras though or is he that good week after week... Lot's of people on twitter saying the Welsh Prem should get a bit more credit, it definitely has after last night.
