That's a pity. I thought Leigh did a good job. I understand why Leigh couldn't turn down the opportunity. It's career progression.

Our luck might start improving now as it's not been the best seven years whilst he has been covering us.

In all fairness, I used to enjoy his articles, but haven't really read anything in the Post for a couple of years now. The website is horrendous to negotiate in order to find any Notts news, constant popups,  and I can't remember the last time I actually bought an Evening Post from a newsagents.

Will wait to see if we get a full time replacement for him, or whether we will be reduced to snippets.

Before the Reedtz Brothers took over it felt like there was something going off at the club every week, but now off the field it’s all quiet these days and that’s a good thing!

Most the articles now are just rehashed versions of pre-match and post-match interviews occasionally you get the odd transfer story but the media team at Notts cover pretty much everything you need to know.

Given the reduced output I wonder if there won’t be a dedicated reported, just whoever’s got the quietest week... I can see why he's moved on and they are certainly not short of stories at Derby at the moment.

i dont know if leigh is to blame fully for the coverage or because he was told what to do, it seemed he tried to get more coverage at times which he should be given credit for as others might not bother.

i am hoping the post brings someone in who can ask questions.

yet again, leigh did fit and become part of the community. i have been critical of him at times but i do hope the next person cares at least 80% as of he did.
