Notts County at Wembley

As we are going to Wembley next Saturday, me included, I thought it would be nice to remember our trips to Wembley over the years.

I'll start with the Anglo Italian Cup on 19th March 1995. Notts faced Ascoli after beating Stoke on penalties after a 0-0 draw over 2 legs. That may not have been the most exciting tie ever! Notts took the lead through Tony Agana after 17 mins. Ascoli drew level in the 33rd minute. Devon White put Notts in front on the stroke of half time. Notts held on in the 2nd half for a 2-1 win. Around 11K fans were at Wembley to witness Notts winning a European trophy.

Edit: Yes I said European trophy and I'll fight anyone who disagrees 🤣🤣🤣

yes, i have travel and tickets all booked. i think the club and the fa could make this a whole lot easier. as buying your transport before your match ticket just seems strange but i could not risk not being able to get down.

i cant wait mind!

I am incredibly lucky and fortunate that my grandfather took me to every trip in the 90s, albeit not the Brighton game as I was deemed too young but my brother went to that. On the way home, they were involved in a crash and some other Notts fans brought them home. It says a lot about what our fans can be like when it comes to helping each other!

Anywho, I look forward to seeing what else you post in regard to Wembley @Dripsey3.

See you there, by the way!
