Goals : Notts v Grimsby

Featured Replies

Our third goal was my favourite what great work by Jodie Jones, the cross was perfect and the diving header from Crowley was timed to perfection.

Jodi Jones delivered some brilliant crosses. We were a bit fortunate that Dan Crowley got on the end of one of them. Grimsby fans can’t be happy with their team’s defending. John Bostock’s control and volley were stunning and would be just as impressive in the Premier League.

I thought Jodi Jones had lobbed the keeper, it was @super_pie that kept correcting me that it was an own goal. Mark Stallard believes it shouldn't count, but I do think it looked like the ball would have been on target. If it was a bad cross or an actual attempt on goal, it was a magical feeling to see it end up in the net.

All our goals were quality.
