Wimbledon v Notts ...Ground pics

Featured Replies

nice pictures @Piethagoram.

i always check out @Dan pictures, i need to make sure i drop likes to them though as i tend to come away. i like how the stadium was a mix of late 80s and early 90s. its a very nice ground that has a lot of promise about it. i am pleased wimbledon have managed to return to their real home.

It's a strange looking ground, the pristine flats rising above it make it loom like an artist's impression in the pictures I've seen. The big blank wall behind the goal would be perfect for flags or murals to give it some extra character.

No mate I’ve been once before against Charlton a few years ago.

Dave said on BBC Radio Nottingham that they have apartments overlooking with a good view of the ground. Now, I can see what he means. It looks quite different and, in a way, reminds me of the hotel attached to Stamford Bridge.

Seeing Wimbledon on TV during the 90s, you don't get a real feel for their ground, and it's nice to actually see what it does look like.

It seems to have had some work done since the days of me collecting Merlin Premier League sticker books, looking at the club page, along with the stadium outline that's how I learned about teams ground capacities.

Great pictures @Piethagoram.

The new ground isn't at the same location as the old Plough Lane ground

The new ground was built on the land that was once was the old Wimbledon stadium, greyhound and speedway track.
