Here we are again, another weekend is upon us.

Curry night tonight and Mrs. T will be serving up a delightful lamb and apricot curry which I am very much looking forward to, I’ll wash it down with a pint of Old Speckled Hen and I’ll be in heaven.

Tomorrow is match day so I’ll be there with George my grandson cheering on the Pies and hoping for a win. I was hoping to do a park run but the course is flooded so that’s out.

Not sure about Sunday yet, probably just a day of rest.

Whats everyone else’s plans?

That sounds like a great way to start the weekend.  I think I'll be doing Macaroni Cheese tonight.  My youngest is off at a friends, so it's just me and daughter 1 tonight.

Luckily our Parkrun course doesn't flood, but the bad news is that I have dived into Half Marathon training too quickly in an attempt to regain my youth and injured myself.  I'll see how the knee is tomorrow morning.  Other than that, it's working through my long Christmas shopping list and spending some time with my partner - this is her 'good' weekend between chemo treatments so we need to make the most of it.  We may get Christmas trees too.

@Ohh Tommy Johnson have a great weekend with your partner, I hope your knee improves, take it easy on the training.

Does this mean I can give you the cap I have @Fan of Big Tone?

Careful mentioning Old Speckled Hen, that's one of my dad's favourites (which does change a lot based on his mood).

I will be at the match tomorrow.

Sunday, I don't know if I will be helping my brother with his move. I am sure he will let me know if this is the case, it's one of those things where someone mentions a day but no date and time. Otherwise, I think I will be working on things behind the scenes. I might find some time to draw or do a digital painting.

As of today, I’m officially attending the match at Meadow Lane. I plan to meet @TheSkipper at The Embankment pub, then we’ll grab a bite before the game starts with @liampie.

On Sunday, I don’t anticipate anything special. I think I’ll just try to stay warm.

after the game, i just shut off because it was honestly the worst i have seen of notts for years. just the lack of desire, i thought i would feel better today but i dont.

i can see why older fans have drinking habits come match days. :rollonfloorlaughing:

today, its not that bad out but i will just be seeing what comes about at home.

@liampie it’s only football, don’t get too down it’s not worth it, I’ve learned that over many years supporting Notts.

Yesterday Mrs. T and youngest grandson Fred put our Christmas tree up, today I’ve been putting the rest of the stuff up today because I left Mrs. T instructions she wasn’t allowed to climb on chairs or step ladder to put things high, so that’s been my job today, it’s starting to feel and look like Christmas. :hohoho:
