Who's you favourite Manager/Head Coach at Notts?

We've seen the great, the good, the average & the poor come through that Meadow Lane door over the last 55 years.

There will be no surprise to others on my choice.

It has to be the one and only Jimmy Sirrel. Mr Notts County.

Which Manager can have included in his CV, taking a club from the 4th tier of Football to the 1st?

Not only did he lead but he built a team to traverse each league and motivate that team to success.

Not only did he do all that, but he also had wit and a personality too, & He loved this club with a passion.

From having watched their teams, I have nothing but respect for Charlie McParland, Martin Allen and Kevin Nolan (his pop at me being Arsenal Fan TV) made things a bit begrudging but it's smoothed over now.

The favourite isn't always the best ;)

Craig Short for fighting on the pitch in a suit and tie like a drunk wedding guest. Could have been a decent manager is given the chance too.

Neil Warnock for being an all-round legend. Met him away from Notts and football a few years back and he seemed a lovely bloke too.

Martin Allen and Sam Allardyce for the way both of them turned the club round during their time in charge and left it on the up. Sam gets a bonus point for the old-school tache.

And Luke Williams, no explanation needed!

I liked Craig Short, spoke well, might be in with a chance if and when Luke moves on ( hopefully we have Luke for a few more years yet).

However, his signing of his mate, Ben Burgess was a complete disaster
