So it's the 29th February today. We are in a Leap year, when those who have their birthday today is a very special day.

Follows is an explanation why we have a Leap Year every 4 years.

I was born in the very bad winter of 1946/47,not a leap year ,but that's another story. My old Ram supporting mate, Gordon, shares my birthday but is one year younger.Apparently if he had been born an hour later he would be celebrating his 19th birthday today.

I think leap year day should be a bank holiday. I did an extra day's work on Thursday without any extra pay, and we even had to do actual work and not just muck around all day. It's just not on.

Also, I went to school with someone born on leap year day, so by my count she'll be about ten now.

i think the way seasons are going and the current weather, months will make their own mind up on what is summer and what is not. but leap years are interesting, things like this and turning the clock hour backwards. at what people did someone figure these out? ????Β
