Play has been abandoned today due to concern over the playing surface.

There have been issues with flooding at the New Road Ground since the start of the season, & those issues remain. Surprised that the game hadn't been transferred to Kidderminster.

The Umpires have deemed that the ground is fit for play so on the 2nd day the Captains have tossed. Notts won the toss and put Worcestershire into bat.

What a first session for Notts. As the teams break for lunch Worcestershire have been bowled out for just 80.

Notts got off to a great start and wickets have tumbled on a regular basis through the morning.

Worcestershire have had lots of problems with flooding at New Road so there must be lots of moisture in that pitch.

Let's see how the Notts batsmen cope with the conditions after lunch.

It's been a top notch performance by Notts today.

At stumps Notts are on 234 for 3 a lead of 154.

The highlight was a century from the Notts Captain Hameed and the Notts bowlers for knocking over the Worcestershire Batsmen for only 80 in the morning session.
