Everton Saudi Takeover?

Featured Replies

Looks like the Saudis are involved in the takeover of another Premier League Club, they already have Newcastle, now they are involved in a £400 million attempted take over of Everton.

When are the PL or the government going to stop PL clubs being basically taken over by Countries.

It is simply ruining our beautiful game.

Here we go again. Your so right @Robbie  But as the Saying Goes MONEY TALKS and the F.A. and Premier League are Deaf when it comes to the Worries and Troubles of Clubs in the EFL. As long as they can make Money out of it then it's just Carry On as Normal. Things will Remain the same as long as the current People in charge  at the FA Remain in Control.

Too right @Wheelbarrow repair man

The big six will swell to, including Newcastle to the big Eight. You know what, if this happens a Superleague is closer than we think.

The PL may even split the PL into two leagues of 10 clubs, PL Superleague & PL 2 & have the teams in each league play each other 4 times so 38 games in total.

I wouldn't put it past the PL to think up something like that to make as much money as possible. The TV companies would love it.

@Robbie

The thing is Can  We the Normal Fan  Do Anything About It?  I know there was an Up Roar from Fans Regarding the European Super League and that bore Fruit, but the Super League is Still there Festering in the Dark waiting for it's chance and it seems it will come back and be a Reality Sooner Rather than Later.

I rarely watch the Prem League but I do agree with you,  @Wheelbarrow repair man.It would be interesting seeing how deep the pockets are for the elite 'big eight' as they try and outdo each other for the chance to remain at the top .

The FA seemingly subservient to the PL. It's been that way for quite a while
