Spain are now the favourites to win Euro 24 after winning all their group matches.

Georgia are the surprise package after beating Portugal to qualify.

Georgia's opening goal, it was a lovely counter-attack. I felt sorry for them, as one of Spain's goals could have been disallowed. I personally wouldn't, but there have been other goals similar that have been due to a player being offside. Whilst I don't think the Spanish player was distracting the keeper, he was close and other times players weren't.

As for England, they'll have a difficult time against Switzerland but if we can improve. At least we can show Scotland how it's done, if anything we need to perform better than they did.

So the first match today is.

France have been misfiring a little in this tournament, they only won one & drew two of their group matches & they finished 2nd to Austria in their group.

We all know that at their best, France are arguably the best international team in the World, & they have the World's best player, Mbappe.

We all know that Belgium can be a dangerous side for anyone to play, & they have their own talisman, Lukaku.

Belgium won one, lost one ,& drew each of their 3 group matches, & like France, have not been at their best.

I think this match will be quite close and a little cagey. It may take a moment of brilliance that separates the sides in the end.

It’s truly commendable to see teams like Georgia progressing so far. It’s difficult not to admire the nations that are often seen as smaller. Switzerland’s victory over Italy, despite being an average team, is indeed a positive outcome.

France have been underwhelming this tournament. Expected more from them. Still Spain and Austria are the only 2 teams that have impressed me so far. Germany have been good but I think when they play Spain, they'll be brought back down.
