Where are they now : Andy Hughes

Featured Replies

I hope Steve Cooper does well at Leicester City, or it could be a bit of a merry-go-round with the staff that are being appointed. I hope Andy Hughes can establish himself and demonstrate his value to the coaching team. I like Leicester, I have a soft spot towards them after being present and interviewing/talking to their fans as part of PON's old sister site Football Manics.

Yes Andy Hughes played quite a few games for us as I remember around the years 2000-2001 I think, he was a central midfielder and quite a fans favourite.

I hope he does well at Leicester.

I wonder how many former players our fans would welcome back in a coaching or staff role. Not that we necessarily need them, as we’ve seen many, like Dean Yates when he was hired as a defensive coach, end up being blamed. I’m sure there’s plenty of talent out there that could make for an interesting staff directory.
