They is a Strong Rumor coming from the Lane. Let me state Again. This is Just A STRONG RUMOR.

It appears that Jodi Could be OUT FOR UP TO SIX MONTHS.

For the Sake of the Magpies Promotion Hopes, Lets Hope that, that's all it is RUMOR.

The Reluctance of any Official Quote From the Club, Will Only Fan The Flames And Add Strength To The Rumor.

Stuart has said in his presser that they are still assessing, & I heard it as talking about possibly only weeks out, maybe even just a few.

Rumours are rumours. I think we should wait for a report from the club once they have definitively found out what the extent of the injury isΒ

I Totally Agree with you @RobbieΒ the only worrying thing about the Rumor is that the Fact the Club took along time before announcing the extent of both Matty Palmer's and Cedwyn Scott's injuries last season. The Club's Silence and Stuart 's vague answer it may only be weeks, doesn't bode well nor Fill the Fans with Confidence.

@Wheelbarrow repair man

I know your concerns may reflect many Notts supporters & I'm concerned too about Jodi.

I can understand the Notts silence because they don't want to give their opponents a heads up either which is the right thing to do.

Two tough games in a few days, Morecambe & Carlisle. It is best to keep mum about injuries till after those games, to keep opponents guessing.

I'm sure Notts will say something once they know more about the extent of the injury.

Unless I am told something by a credible source, I tend not to listen to rumours as they don't usually reflect on any truth. Sometimes there are whispers, which get passed around, and before you know it someone else expands on it. Until we know, we shouldn't worry. I just hope Jodi Jones is fine and not in any discomfort at this stage.

As vital as he is to our team, his wellbeing as a person is more important.

I do think, as someone else mentioned in the topic about Jodi Jones' injury, that it's becoming disrespectful. These people panning the fire and spreading rumours really should think. By this, I mean those who start them.

As I said @ChrisΒ the Club should take part of the Blame for these Rumors with their Silence regarding Jodi's injury. How many times have we Fans been told, the injury is being accessed (I think it's three) and with Stuart seemingly trying to tip toe around the question, is how theses Rumors start. The Longer the Fans hear nothing regarding Jodi the moreΒ  likely the Rumors will start and Grow.

As you said it may start out as a Whisper, someone will say they saw Jodi on Crutches that's Bad. Then someone will add Jodi had to go and see a Specialist, then Yeah and Remember it took ages for the Club to tell fans, about Matty Palmer and Cedwyn Scott and look how Bad their Injuries were. Then Jodi's had those injury problems before.Β  Plus Notts have signed that player on loan to cover Jodi's position And that's How the Rumor starts, and gets Embellished more and more. In a situation like Jodi's the Club should announce a Date when they will give the Fans a full and proper up date regarding Jodi's injury and this May stop Rumors flying around.

well the club cant come out and say they dont know, they would want to have all the facts. whatever the media team might say, could only be used in negative peoples blame game. its big news, so they had to handle it well. the issue is those who want to act like they know everything.

i am glad that people like chris wait for the facts, because it shows credibility.

some of the people who repeated rumours might be innocent, as they may have been given false information but at the same time you just cant say anything. i do think its disrespectful towards jodi too.

We didn't know that Jatta or Robertson were fit to play a full game last night till the team sheet came out.

It's good that the opposition don't know until an hour before.
