Good morning, it’s the start of another week, the weather seems to have calmed down somewhat, what’s everyone doing today?

I can’t believe how organised we are for Christmas, we have got all the presents for family already, we are usually still scratching our heads now. I think we’ve just been swept up with everyone else’s early start, it seems to get earlier every year.

We’ve resisted putting up the tree etc., that can wait till next weekend.

Have a great day everyone.

Our Christmas tree remains resolutely in its box.

I organised most of my presents a couple of weeks ago, but I've still got no idea to get Mrs Sausage. If we want something, we usually just buy it. We've got plenty of booze and sparkly things already.

In other news, I'm going to be crazily busy at work for the next two weeks. Roll on the 21st!

Overcast cold morning here. Was out early getting a few things from the supermarket.

Our Aerial became loose during the storm so it needs to be replaced.

It hadn't been used for years anyway. Going to have a digital aerial fitted in its place.

Morning all, overcast and cold here too, at least it’s dry. We don’t use our aerial either @Robbie we’ve got Virgin Media so the aerial is redundant, I’ll probably have it taken down one day before it falls down.

I finished another 1,000 piece charity shop jigsaw yesterday, it was very hard especially the black bits on the steam engines, I’m glad that’s finished.

@Piethagoram the jigsaw is called Gateway to Snowdonia, so I guess you’re right.

Good morning. Another overcast day and cold this morning too. Just waiting for the Aerial installer to come & install a new Aerial for us.

Used to have Sky TV. I have the satellite Freeview now. Having the Aerial Freeview will be another option.

This is the first day, since the weekend, that I have actually felt okay. The coldness is making my body feel like I have been run over by a truck. All my body wants to do is sleep. It's very annoying, because I have started the previous two days feeling fine. Only to eventually feel worse and needing sleep to recover.

I am hoping I will feel fine going to Salford, as my friends have already planned for it and I bought a ticket when they went on sale.

I hope everyone who reads this is well, I've missed checking in. ????

Just going down the Tube at Embankment this evening, must have passed a fellow #Notts fan heading eastbound on the District line, with a passing chant of U Pies!

Another overcast and cold morning here. I don't watch a lot of live television now, but spent the even last night checking out all the Freeview channels after having our new Aerial put up.

The guy did a very good job, & I'm getting more Freeview channels than I get on my Sky Satellite dish.

The small Freeview box also includes on line content, & on demand TV, as well as pause live TV, so I'm impressed.

A week without Notts & I'm looking forward to Saturday. A week of rest, recuperation & training should have helped the squad immensely.

Hoping that the come out on all four cylinders & get the result the whole club & fans will be hoping for.

Good afternoon, what a miserable drizzly day its been, I've been looking for a special wine from the Alsace Region of France, its called Gewürztraminer and we have it every Christmas, a tradition my dad started. I found some online at Sainsbury's for £11.50 a bottle so I ordered 3 bottles click and collect, when I turned up to collect they said the order had been abandoned probably because it was out of stock, well they might have told me to save a wasted journey. Grrr!

Anyway I found some on Amazon for a bit more at £15 bottle, expensive I know but worth it for Christmas.

This morning I checked my wildlife camera and our friendly fox has paid us a visit again and devoured some chicken skin I put out, he beat our cat to it so I bet she was miffed when she sniffed round the same area later.

Here's a short video of foxy.

Morning all, I’m a happy bunny this morning, I wanted to lose half a stone before Christmas and when I stepped on the scales this morning it said I was down to 13 stone so I’ve achieved my goal, when we came back off holiday 3 weeks ago I was 13st 8lb so I decided not to drink alcohol until Christmas and eat smaller portions, of course I’ll put it all on again but at least I won’t be piling it on top of the previous weight.

I might do the same after Christmas and see if I can lose it again and more.

Morning all, it’s park run day and match day, in that order for me. I’m heading off to the Park Run after I’ve had breakfast and later I’ll be watching Notts on Sky+.

@Piethagoram enjoy the duck breast, one of my favourite meats. ????

Morning all, it’s a cloudy but warmer start to the day today. How are we all feeling this morning? I hope no one is too depressed about yesterdays game, don’t forget it’s only football and contrary to what Bill Shankly said it’s not more important than life and death.

Well today will be a relaxing one here, we’ll have a walk to deliver a few cards but that’s all, we put the Christmas tree up yesterday so that’s done. I think this year will be the last one for that particular tree, it’s seen much better days and needs to go. We’ll get a new one next year.

Have a great Sunday.

Good afternoon. A damp and dreary day here. Goes with the current mood doesn't it.

In times like this it is always fascinating to see how Notts fans deal with a very bad result.

It is usually divided by those who see a glass half empty or a glass half full.

I try to look at the positives rather than the negatives when it comes to sport because sport, especially football can be an up and down thing with one's emotions.

So I suppose I'm in the glass half full camp, but there again, I can't say that's always been 100% the case.
