#Notts County finances, year ending 30 June 2024

Featured Replies

Football club finances can look pretty scary. It's worth mentioning that the 1.2 million received in transfer fees came in after the reporting date, so aren't included in the figures for 23-24. They largely offset the loss for the financial year, which itself was largely down to The Nest and a couple of transfer fees. Based on that, I'd assume that we're getting closer to being on an even keel.

The loans still make me nervous though!

I don't worry about football finances. I think the Reedtz have a good understanding of what it takes to get us up the leagues, and provided we maintain control over the money going out and the debt, I personally think we'll be better off than a lot of other clubs that are considered bigger and richer. The thought of us being able to profit from departing players is only part of the good signs.

i used to worry about the finances but i dont think the reedtz try to hide things and are investing in the club, if improvements were not being made and we looked like we was barely getting by that would be a concern but i dont see that. i think we are in safe hands and things will improve with time.
