Can Notts make the playoffs? They have eight games remaining. Four at home, & four away. None of the games left will be easy.

Newport away, MK Dons Home

Colchester away, Salford Home

Bradford away, Cheltenham Home

Harrogate away, Doncaster home.

Notts have 62 points. I think another four wins could be enough, which would give Notts 74 in total. Maybe a few draws mixed in would be even better.

Thoughts?

It's odd that we are only 2 points off an automatic spot but if feels like it's much bigger margin! I'm definitely looking the other way I'd put us in a mini-league with Grimsby, Colchester and Crewe for those last two spots now. We only have a 4 point gap and if our current form continues we will drop out of them come the end of the season.

That said I do I think we are good enough to finish inside the play-offs, we just need to go at teams a bit more especially at home. Right now though I think it'll be really close, I want to say yes but I'm just not sure.

it really depends on if we can get back to winning ways and how long that might take, as this rate i think there is more a chance that the club will fall out of the playoffs. i still believe we have the squad that can finish in the automatics, but we are not playing like it. the amount of teams who are grinding out results and showing a clearer ability to score goals, whereas even when we are able to score, we concede one more and it undoes the effort. the playoffs is going to be such a gamble for any team that makes it but i think we need to try to at least finish within them.

8 games remain, we need to see a dramatic increase in form.

the rollercoaster of a season has done the loopty loop and notts are now faces the point of the biggest drop.

doncaster and bradford being two remaining games, those will be hard. donny and port vale have a game in hand, we lost the chance of making ours count. i would hope as our season excels to the final point of the ride we are able to keep within the playoffs at least.
