Simon Weaver has confirmed that he expects James Belshaw to leave Harrogate Town in the coming days after reaching an “agreement” for his sale.

    This is one I’d be happy with tbh.

    We developed him as a youngster, it would be interesting to see him return. Over the years he’s always looked steady rather than spectacular but he’s an established, experienced keeper at lower league level.

    He could be a replacement, or at worst, very good cover, for Roos. Either way, I’d welcome his arrival with a degree of optimism.

    It seems there's speculation because Harrogate tongues have been wagging if even Simon Weaver is commenting on it.

    Even this is not confirmation that we're the club he's joining. I'd be pleased with it but let's not count our chickens.
