What was your opinion on Hayden Hollis? Having watched the highlights he was ball watching for their equaliser which is criminal at professional level, I also saw that both Roy Carroll & Liam Noble both had a go at him about his positioning.

I thought he had a poor game, he is a big lad and I lost count of the number of times that Colchester players had a free header in the box, he is young and hopefully with the experience of Mullins beside him he will get better.

The nicest moment of the night was the reception that Mike Edwards got when he came off the bench to warm up. I bet he had a lump in his throat I certainly did.

It was better game than the previous one but far off being what we should play like. Very eventful.

Perhaps gave the Whole squad kick up the bum.

Played better than Saturday and looked more determined. Carroll was superb in goal. It's the usual story with yellow cards, too quick to take players names for soft bookings and the tackle on Thompson gets the same treatment. Wroe's sending off was a bit harsh as the ball appeared to be kicked as the whistle went. Still not playing the way I'd like with pacey wide men. We allowed Colchester far too many chances. Entertaining game and a fantastic goal from Noble.

I don't think he'll ever get better, his fundamental defending errors that he has shown through the youth team (which is why more than a few eyebrows were raised when he got a pro contract) haven't gone away and now we are getting punished for them, surely it's time to play McKenzie (if fit) with Mullins?
