Well a lot has happened while I have been away, Curle sacked, over the river McLeish walked, Notts in the High Court, we've lost a game and drawn a game and signed a new striker. I also noticed that I didn't get enough votes to win the main prize booo!!! All that canvassing and kissing babies was to no avail. Ha Ha.

Now where to start.

Disappointed that Curle was sacked, I thought we were going in the right direction and felt a bit sorry for him. I don't want to criticise Ray but I do think he has jumped the gun, what happened to the stability he was talking about creating!

I'm not surprised agent McLeish walked, what a shambles they are in over the river.

The new striker sounds half decent, at least he scored, lets hope he carries on doing the business.

Anyway off to peruse the rest of the forum, see you around.

LOL!!

You've been missed Tony. (could say the same about others too) I've been focusing a lot of promotion recently which explains the current state you'll find the community, it's been very slow but it will click back eventually.

I agree with your comments and I have stated that I believe he should of been given the rest of the season. (yet the attendances seems to of been a forcing concern in his decision which is ever so awkward) At the worst he should of been given a few more games because Chris hasn't turned the tables as such and we're giving him time? It could of been wise to do so with Curle but in Chris we trust.

McLeish was never going to be a success across the river, I expect Billy to struggle at first for awhile too.

The new striker did very well on debut and hopefully silenced the people who was overly negative towards him joining. It's just nice to have a different option and he never stopped trying, he did slow down after he scored but his comments on the o/s regarding his celebration explain this. (tired)

Good to see your back Tony :)

Thanks Joe,

I don't think it is fair to cite the attendances as a reason that Curle was sacked during the last games of his reign the weather had been atrocious, games had been called off at the last minute, surely that has a bearing on attendance.

As you say though we move on and looking forward to see if Chris can galvanise the team as he seems to have done for the second half on Saturday, I really hope he is a success but I fear he has too little experience but we will see.

How did he celebrate the goal, did he lie down and go to sleep?

Welcome back Tony.

Alot has certainly happened since then, its not like you've been gone for ages either.

Curle's sacking was a surprise but in some ways with some fans complaining about him i could see it happening at some point but not when it did.
