Championship, League one, and league two managers who are currently feeling the heat, will take little comfort in the fact Paul Jewell has left West Brom after 1week!

Premier league is above his level IMO, but I wouldn't want to be a manager struggling in a lower league with somebody like this on the market

I know someone who gets a bit annoyed when his name is mentioned

Gary Johnson is at least a loudmouth with a proven record. It's a bit reminiscent of Warnock getting the boot from us after struggling following relegation from the top flight. He's made a pig's ear of this season but that doesn't make him a bad manager.

If he were to come this far North again then he'd do me as a replacement for SD and GA! Not sure he'd drop that far down the leagues though.

Mmm,I thought they'd stick with him a bit longer.

What a crazy game this is, both managers have had a successful season and have been sacked, if finishing as high as Derby and Sheff Utd is deemed failure I wish Notts had been a failure like that.

I wouldn't call it a "successful" season for the Blunts, a club that size should be shooting for automatic promotion. Clough deserved another season though.
