Yeovil Town have recently had a bid rejected for the left sided winger, his contract runs out at the end of the season and it appears that Kidderminster Harriers are all set to a contract show down for him.
 

Johnson is understood to be on the radars of Sky Bet Championship outfit Birmingham City, League One Notts County and Yeovil and League Two Luton Town.

It seems that Derry has already started to identify players he would like to have for the following season, which is actually refreshing because it highlights his desire to move within the market and of course his belief in wanting to build a team which can be more competitive next season. Now this lads only 24, so it's a good age to sign even without any major league experience because he will most likely want to cut it.

Perhaps not everyone 'desired' player but from my knowledge he's pretty quick and skilful, nothing amazing but solid enough.

as you said hes the type of player we need to be looking at, we dont have the money to purchase them so we need to look to build. if derry offers him a contract and he signs for us, i hope he does well.

Are people against this? Quite a few reads but little input, I realize this might because of the 'future' transfer tag but I still think it's interesting to discuss.

Marvin Johnson somewhat divides the Harriers but the majority think he'd do better at this level than above.
