How do you think it feels to be the manager of this club we support? Could you do it?

More importantly what does it take to catch a break?

I wonder if our managers worry about how long they have to implement their plans and vision, does it weigh on their mind? There is little chance we will see success unless we give managers time and see it has a two year plan. That said, I would not become the manager.

To catch a break whoever must be good! Plus understand the fans.

No, no... No.....

That said, I do believe I could do well as a manager of a football team but in the real world I could never manage Notts. The chances of it working is very slim, it always is when you actually support the team and doing well on every version of Football Manager doesn't count. I mean, I took Notts to the Championship in my second season and stabilized them in the Championship but for this to happen in the real world, the manager would have to be special.

Mid table would allow our next manager to have a couple of kit kats, we may even sneak a time out. ;)

You wouldnt buy a house on it would ya... no chance I would want it (even if I was good enough, which I aint)

You need to be a good Man manager first and foremost...have a very good assistant or coach who is tactically sound... and a blooming good team of scouts...finding and developing the talents... even if the big fish can nkw tek em for nowt

There is very little job security in football management, even less at Notts. I wouldn't take the Notts job given our record of sacking managers. Plus you know you would be expected to work miracles on a small budget. Almost impossible.

At nearly every club in this current time you don't have time to put any real plans in place, current managers are just like the next big music star, they are great for the first 12 months then they disappear never to be heard of again (apart from the extreme minority).

Stability is a word we all use, yet it is the one thing we will only ever have if we give the manager a relatively big budget then keep increasing year on year as that way his immediate plans should stabilise the club, ie appease the noisy minority then let him put the stepping stones in place for the future.

I reckon the managers job would be good, would I do it for Notts, not now thats for sure, someone else definitely
