Its an interesting read, nice to read the history of football and how certain parts of it formed to how they are nowadays.

Alot more rules brought in now, but they are still not followed and never will be.

It must of taken you awhile to get all the information correct and in the right order as obviously some you know about and other parts needed research.

Yes Cheeky, I have done a lot of research and discovered  quite a lot that I didn't fully know about before. Sometimes I've gone to check on something and ended up going completely of the trail , a bit like some of the threads do on the forums.

      One thing I didn't realise before is that 'football' 150 years ago was still a lot different to the game we know today. This will become evident and will be explained a little more in the next part of the series.

    

     I'm hoping it will become easier for me as I get more up to date and in more familiar territory.

 

    Finally, yes,  there are more rules today and quite often  they are 'bent'  or not interpreted as they were intended to be.

I sympathise with her, we've look after two of our grandchildren for three days of the week and I am falling asleep by 10pm, they are so energetic, I wish I could bottle it.

Cutting the grass doesn't take long but the rest of the gardening does, although when i do it i have to watch out for the kids walking straight across where i'm trying to cut the grass or standing under the hedge when i'm trimming off the longer bits.

Our garden has weeds coming through from next door! I must admit that for the last 3/4 years I've only done what was absolutely necessary(i.e. cut the lawn and hedges) as we very rarely used the garden because of the pillocks that used to live next door.

I can't think of anything worse than having nasty neighbours. We are very lucky to have lovely people next door apart from the fact that one side the chap is a Florist fan.

hehe, i don't think any of us can get away from florest fans living near us.

I'm glad Super rams bad neighbours have gone, but i wish ours would too. We have a lovely old couple one side(even though they are florest fans too), but bad ones attached and on the back. I could manage the ones attached most of the time but the ones on the back are like neighbours from hell, just like super rams old neighbours.

People of the lowest form, I wouldn't call them human beings.

It will be nice to throw some extra features, as I've been caught with being busy and my mobile makes it hard to manage the site away from home. I'm hopeful I might be able to start developing team roles more and get people fully behind the site. (I'm not say we don't already) I just mean with a few more extra hands, interest and frequent posting by a good group.. We'll snow ball and this upcoming year it's needed

Yes,the neighbours at the back of you are really mentally challenged.I can't stand them either!

The jury is still out regarding our new neighbours. They couldn't possibly be anywhere near as bad  as the ones before but they do argue a lot and are noisy at unreasonable times, though nowhere near as bad as the old ones.

It's been really nice to get in our garden without having the smell of 'weed' or finding doggiedo all over.and I don't have lager cans or *** ends to clear up.

We don't get the abuse either or the loud  crap music.I suppose we should be thankful for some things.

I think we could all do with a break from noise disturbances and anti social behaviour, but until people who are in charge take action, nothing is going to change unfortunately.

I'm still looking forward to your next article and i'm sure it will be as interesting as the other two.

The police aren't much use.They seem to ignore the drugs and don't seem to care about the noise.Once, they said they could hear the noise as they came up our close when they came to our house to witness the noise next door.The useless policeman agreed that it was a bit loud but it was also the weekend and we should expect  a bit of noise.When I pointed out that the volume was turned down as they approached our house he just brushed me aside as if we were the problem. In the end we gave up calling the police even when the pratt next door was out of his head.I think other neighbours leave it for someone else to do the complaining as they don't want any comeback from the troublemakers

Thats the problem, people feel scared to complain because they think they will get the trouble passed onto them and the police will do nothing about it either. Its a shame we feel this way about them, but it is very true for our police force.
