York game

Featured Replies

I need to make sure I have your number still, my phones had glitches in the past whereby I have lost peoples numbers but I will be attending alone, so I would appreciate the company. I warn you though, I have been feeling well and there's a chance I might not feel well enough.

Though I would like to catch up, as it's been awhile.

Message me mate.

A field where dreams become reality.

This is another match I will miss unfortunately, we've got the eldest grandkids for the weekend and we don't see them very often so Notts take a back seat.

Enjoy the game.

Thoroughly enjoyed my day. Many thanks to my hosts!! :)

Ohhh, so you were the Yorkshire guy that was sitting next to me and talking to me throughout the whole game. Makes sense now

What's the story @[member="BradtheMiller"]?It seems a bit strange with the Millers having won their last 2 games.

TBH it sounds like a bit of a falling out with the Chairman rather than anything specifically Football related. The fat controller is known to be a volatile character as during his Millers tenure he's fallen out with dozens of players & moved them on, it's about time he got some of his own medicine.

I'm unbelievably happy about us getting rid of Evans & his trusty sidekick Raynor. Yeah, they've been relatively successful, but with the financial backing our Chairman gave them in respect of the playing budget, I reckon I'd have gotten us out of the bottom two divisions.

Gone are the cringeworthy pre & post match interviews, their questionable touchline antics, the scattergun transfer policy, HOOFBALL, & anything else relating to them, hallelujah to that!!!

Early favourite is ex Wednesday boss Stuart Gray, but I'd like to see ex Leeds caretaker boss Neil Redfearn given a pop at it, also Nigel Clough has been mentioned.

Shaun Derrys available, snap him up before Doncaster do

I quite agree with you about Evans cringeworthy touch line antics, him and his mate were embarrassingly obnoxious when they visited Meadow Lane.

@[member="BradtheMiller"] glad you had a good time, @[member="notts-joe"] is great ambassador for the club and they are lucky to have someone like him.

what did you think of the game out of interest? do we look to have a good squad?

Hard to tell really only having witnessed a 1-0 massacre v a very poor York side but on the face of it, Moniz seems to have assembled a nice mix of youth & experience. McLeod will score buckets of goals in L2, I like the look of Noble in midfield, Aborah looks an exciting prospect, & Edwards seems to be a good leader at CB. You'll go close Pies!!

Three points at the Dog & Duck tonight wouldn't go amiss!!!

abroah is deffo a player that will get attention of other teams he's a class act calm can play under pressure has skill wouldn't be surprised if end of season someone try's to pinch him could easily play a few leagues higher only 28 Hewitt is another prospect that will shine strong pace gets involed a lot
