he is a good player and he has been playing in the reserves but can't get near the squad not sure why as we don't have a actual LB in replacement of Sheehan

I think Blair Adams did better playing within League One, than I have seen him this season.

If this is down to him believing he's better than this level I don't know, yet personally he's done nothing to suggest he should be starting. I have to say this is the most disappointing thing about him - as a player who came with promise and one who can be a big player, 9 times out of 10 he's nothing short of a major disaster. If he's been placed on the transfer market, I wouldn't be bothered.

I'd go as far as saying I'd release him.

Yet, I am hoping one of these days he lives up to his reputation and contributions consistently. I don't think anyone would argue he's the type of player in form who would be hard to drop or replace, yet the fact he's barely featured this season speaks volumes.
