Ex 'Pie Alan Judge

Just watching the goals on channel 5 and I see Alan Judge helped Brentford demolish Charlton with 2 assists and 1 goal, this follows 2 goals last week.

Nice to see ex players doing well.

I have a lot of respect for Alan Judge, he was great with Jake and used to be one of the older players who made a fuss of him.

I'm awaiting to see the highlights but will check these out, hope he pushes onto play in the Premiership because he deserve to be there. Blackburn was fools to let him go twice, considering their squad now - he could have made this difference for them.

It was our Ellie's favourite player when he was there. He seems to play well, but Notts seem to only keep good players for a certain amount of time.

Well in this case @[member="cheeky~k8"] I think we've got to accept that Alan Judge was far too good for Notts and was destined to go on to higher things it would be a shame to stay with Notts languishing in the bottom two divisions when he could play in the Championship and who knows maybe even the Premiership one day. Lets be thankful for the time he was with us, its the same with a lot of players, Grealish, Kasper etc., and of course my all time favourite Tony Hateley who played for Notts in his younger days and moved on to bigger and better things but eventually came back in the twilight years of his career to help Notts get out of the 4th Division under Jimmy Sirrell. Maybe Judge will come back one day.

Notts struggle to hold onto the quality players because we do not move forward, players like stability and progression.

Alan Judge was never going to stay with us and he left at the right time for his own career, its just a shame because if he was in our squad now we would be tearing the league up!

When people ask what 'American Pie' is about, they're missing the point. The song isn't about the lines themselves - it's about what is between the lines. The song is about what isn't there.
