Michael O'Connor signs!

We knew it was coming! Michael O'Connor has officially signed for us today!

I think he's a great signing, someone that doesn't mind scrapping in the middle of the park, I'd hope he would be the hard-worker allowing Aborah to do his magic!

He says that he's signed a 2 year deal but hopes we will get to the championship in that time!

Excellent stuff! I'm happy with this. Vale fans are impressed too: http://www.onevalefan.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?25721-O-Connor-amp-Dicko

Not too much "scrapping in the middle of the park" though, Liam Noble's only just left

O'Connor is another sensible signing, hopefully he will be a key player for us because he's got that potential.

Port Vale fans should understand how important of a player he has been for them, which I think his approach and attitude will be useful off the pitch. He's the type of player who is hard working, yet embraces what the club represents and connects well with the fans. I'm happy, he is one of the players I hoped we would snap up and I am glad it's actually happened.
