are we going to sign some players????

 

I'm getting bored, I want to talk about football, come on Notts. give us something to talk about even if its a moan.

I understand that the 'transfer window' doesn't open until July 1st and a lot of players contracts expire on June 30th.Transfers can be negotiated and completed before these dates and are binding but not official until July 1st, at least that is my understanding of the rules.So expect a bit more press speculation and actual transfer activity come the end of the week. In the mean time, as Corporal Jones (Dad's Army) would say 'Don't panic,don't panic' and Tony-have a beer.

I was like this last year, then we made a flurry of signings. I'd rather us not rush it, yet make sure we are still in the market for key players. I don't know if you noticed Tony, tho the Media Team released an image of the first training session. Supposedly over on twitter they announced that 4-5 players are trialing with us. I've looked at the photo, I don't notice anyone who stands out but there is this tall, strong looking player.

When I first looked, I thought it was of when Lloyd Sam was with us. I had to re-look, I still think these players share something similar and I cannot think of anyone in our current squad who it could be.

Though, I had that first realization that Bish and Judge wasn't there. I thought I had accepted this, wait for Jake and Ellie to realize that they're not. (Though Ellie did tell me she wants to watch 'Georgey' and we both joked when we found a hat suited for Rovers.

I know the First is Alan Sheehan, Gary Liddle, Dean Leacocks (arm), ?, Gavin Mahon, Joss Labadie, ?, ?, ? JRC, Lloyd Sam (look-a-like) LOL

I predict transfer activity to gradually increase as this week progresses,  with rumours and speculation mounting.Next week things will happen around all the leagues.It's going to be a rollercoaster couple of weeks or so for all fans.
