As the title suggests, rather then the positions that are needed (we all know we need players in every position) lets have some actual names.

I'll start with Danny Rowe from Afc Fylde

i have always liked dan bradley, not sure where he plays now or if he would be good enough but he would give a lot more.

He's a decent player, quite good on the ball but I think he's missed his chance to step up into the football league.

No doubt he's a very hard worker and gives no less than 100%, though I think his career will be seen out in the Non-League. Loyal mind, he wouldn't move from Alfreton and he had interest from Championship/ good League One clubs. I think Charlton also had an offer knocked back for him, someone close to Alfreton that I know suggested that wanted silly money for him.

For the sake of discussion, did he play for Oxford? Defender?

Not that familiar with him myself but I recall Oxford for some reason.

Yeah he did, good solid no nonsense defender we desperately need right now.

Any names spring to mind?

Off the top of my head, Sean Raggett.

Young defender who joined Lincoln the last I know but he did very well with Dover and was once considered good enough to step up to League One. I think Sheffield United and Barnsley was tracking his progress back then.
