Here's an interesting thread on Nolan on an Orient forum:

Doesn't seem to be rated as a player, but you get the feeling they'd take him back as manager. Although that's not saying much in their situation.

I think this may be what @Elite_pie mentioned, basically the bookies trying to mislead people and to bring back any potential loss from the right man being backed.

There is belief that Mark Robins is the man who will become our manager.

Only time will tell I guess.

He'll get the dressing room sorted , I think he'll know what it needs to get it going , given time , yes that old chestnut , given time and sensible resources he can be a success , success this season is keeping our league status , I think that the games remaining give time to do that , I think we will , KEVIN NOLAN'S BLACK AND WHITE ARMY , AH's revolution is on , I'll do my part by being as positive as I can be , and back the team at the Lane , COYPΒ

Nolan it is then. It's a big risk to appoint someone with so little experienceΒ at this point but we have to trust Alan Hardy's judgement that he has the right personality for the job. I've heard positive things from Orient but our situation is different.

It's a fresh start and time to get behind everyone at the club! At last the years of rudderlessness seem to be over. I suspect we'll be seeing a different type of performance from the players too. If Nolan fails it shouldn't be for want of support!

PS Am I the only one who thinks that his first interview could have done with subtitles? :D

i was not sure about nolan before but he impressed me in the press conference, he seems to have something about him too. hopefully mansfield is just the start, as people say we need to improve but i feel happier with the manager choice because of how focused on the task he seems.
