How would you rate Notts County's October?

In terms of Notts County fixtures, October is now over and done with, and it's been a case of mixed fortunes this month.

I wrote at the start of the month about how a relatively easy month on paper could have caught the Notts players out due to complacency and, at certain times, it seemed like that's just what happened.

So from 5 League Two games - a possible 15 points - we've got 8, but crucially finished the month on a high note with a much improved display and a 3-0 win over Newport in the last game.

What would you rate the month out of 10? Let us know!

6.5/7 - Started off very poorly against Forest Green. Got back to winning ways against Barnet in which we played well but lapses in concentration almost let them in at the end. Crewe was just awful in every way. Carlisle was back to normal after we showed the fight and desire to rescue a point in the second half and could have won it. We were getting back to our normal selves in the second half of that game. Saturday was fantastic. We tore Newport to shreds.

Probably a 6/10 from last month. We never really got going against any of the sides until Carlisle away in the second half. Newport, we were as good as them and then imposed ourselves after the sending off, but we weren't anything special before this.

8 points from 5 games at an average of 1.6 points a game will do as it is still in and around play off form, but we don't want to be slipping below this standard very often. Hopefully November will see us assert ourselves again with four very winnable games.

Probably a five.

it’s not be the best month but we got a couple of key results, and the ones which didn’t go our way didn’t cause much issues. It could have been better, possibly even should have but acceptable.
