DIY World Cup

Here's a fun link - create your own World Cup draw. When I did it England got Belgium, Egypt and Japan in the group stage and beat Denmark in the second round before our customary quarter-final defeat at the hands of Poland. France won the cup, beating Germany in the final.

Give it a try - what do you get? Anyone who manages to get the same as the real World Cup draw wins a year's supply of my toenail clippings.

I'd be quite happy with that tbh. I know that FIFA rankings ultimately count for nothing, but it's interesting that the hosts happen to be the lowest ranked team in the tournament.

First attempt Brazil won it.

Second attempt England played the team that lost to Brazil in my first go.

Poor Germany lost both attempts.
