I still believe that we have a strong squad (on paper), albeit there's obvious gaps and the potential Mason Bennett injury could be a pretty major set back. I still feel now that the 'air' has been cleared and, once the dust has settled - we just need to get on with the season.

There's a potential chance that Kevin has done more damage with his meltdown.

Would he accept this from us? No he wouldn't, it was a meltdown and he should have chosen his words more wisely.

The facts are we are safe, I just hope we don't give up on the hard work. We have had 'dips in form' before but this is clearly more than just that. If it was as easy to be written off, I don't think the post match interview would have taken place. It's clear there's a lot of pressure, not just on Kevin but the players.

Let's do our part and try to forget about the performance, the upcoming home games will be massive now.

The hard bit was going top, maintaining it should be easier because its not like any injuries have impacted us that much.

It's poor form, negative tactics and woeful decisions which are holding us back. My worry is that the players no longer believe they are good enough despite Nolan thinking its about believing the hype.

Whatever our take on KN's after match verdict , we have 15 games left , form can change either way in a season , we need a positive response , if they are tight and a good group then they will respond , if not league 2 it is next season

Aye, plus if Kevin Nolan can put into practice what has been successful for us and what happens.

The quality can be added, League Two next season wouldn't be the worst thing to happen but we need to have a go at it. I do believe the issues are more than just form, I noticed some fans compare yesterday's post match interview to when John Sheridan lost his head.

In football the signs are there, it's scary to think it could be happening all over again.

Stability though, we need to keep focused and be prepared.

strong midfield as you have said yourself.

weak defence and limited options up top, dickinson does not cut it. hunt is okay but does not defend that well. duffy is prone to making mistakes. if the midfield does not click or work hard no chances are created. stead, ameobi and forte should have better service.

Personally I wouldn't compare that interview with any JS did he criticized lots of times blamed poor refs most of the time and didn't have a clue way before the end , players opinion is one thing but undermining ya gaffa is something else it creates a bad dressing room , if that's what's happening get rid , Nolan was undermined it seems .

To be fair, it's all Kevin's done since the start of the year - he's complained after virtually every game about how the match officials cost us or how poor they was. There was a time his 'focus' was solely on the opposition we next face and the preparation we required for that game.

It's a two way street regarding undermining, but as a manager Nolan must settle bridges and scrap this 'I'll show them the door'.

It sounds great to fans, especially those that don't think about the long term effects but if he does or has lost the dressing room - it will be KN's head on the plate not the players. If our form dips, those fans turn (as they do) and then KN will find himself in a very lonely room without support.

There's that VR thing also, yet Alan Hardy says he doesn't like technology and really that's something which may improve the quality of match officials.

Before I turn in form at home, KN also stupid said that 'no team deserved to beat us at Meadow Lane'.

So if the players are believing their own hype, I wonder who's fault this could be?

Kevin needs to distance himself from the nonsense he spouts at times, he needs to re-visit the manager he was earlier in the season and focus game by game. He needs to go back to basics, avoid tinkering when it isn't required and this 'fresh' idea of dropping those back chatters - well he needs them. He also needs to be professional and see the middle ground.

The players need to step up simple as that, yet you need to manage these situations and avoid escalation.

Now isn't the time to be getting rid of players, that would be cutting off your nose spite your face.
