David Vaughan in the building?

So the signings keep on coming with Notts announcing they have a new Number 8 signing today.

David Vaughan has been announced as our new midfield generalissimo!

Thoughts?

Agree with that @TheMightyPie. Every successful side needs a quality experienced midfielder in their side and we now have one. He can let all the young lads do the running whilst he just pulls the strings.

If we hit the ground running this season then I'm struggling to see a better side in the league. Currently I can only see Lincoln (Apparently signing Akinde) as being close to us.

Expected him to sign, I am sure a couple of League One clubs would have been interested but out of League Two we stand the most chance.

Supposedly Mansfield had shown interest, this makes me laugh because they could have been like us if they had signed Bishop and Vaughan - I can't see how it would have made sense. Pleased we got the better player of the two. :D
