Bit late starting this but hey it's match day! Let's hope Notts come up with the goods.

Went for a Park Run this morning, 5k and I managed to do a bit better time, just over 31 minutes, I like running it helps me clear my thoughts, I came 12th in my age group but well down the field of over 400 runners overall.

This afternoon I will be listening to the match on the radio and hoping for a win, then we've been invited to my son's for tea and a games night so looking forward to that.Β

What's everyone else doing today?

I am awaiting the kickoff between Notts and Northampton.

It's horrible outside and I think I will have to start wearing warmer clothes, as I didn't think it would be this cold. I hope to come back happier than normal. :)Β

i think i should start doing some sort of runs, what distance did you start off with?

im awaiting the game to kick off, i dont turn on the radio until notts are on because i hate hearing them talk about forest so much. its odd that they do it on the dab station because now forest has both the fm frequencies i dont know why they feel notts fans want to know about forest.

other than that i am just resting and trying to lift my mood.

I haven't felt well today, I woke up being sick and I will spare the details there.

It's not very nice I will tell you that, as I am not the quickest these days to deal with the issue. I feel okay now, I think it's my meds and stuff. I haven't done a great deal today TBH, but I will crack on soon. I have been doing some site work but it's been a slow start.

About 2:30 I will be turning on the radio to listen to Notts.

I'm hoping they can give me some distractions and entertainment. There's been three peoples birthdays, so surely this is a sign for things to come?

I started with the Couch to 5k app, it literally takes you from doing no running at all to running 5k in 9 weeks, you start off walking and running a bit, then walking again and running again. It gradually builds you up to do more running than walking, so it's a very gradual process. I can recommend it @liampieΒ it does wonders for your bodily health (I've lost 2 stone) and also your mental health because you feel good about yourself and the exercise helps relieve stress.

Today i got up early because virgin was coming to fix our internet problem. They've replaced our hub for a new one and replaced the cable connected to it as that had a fault aswell according to the engineer. The hub is the same one i asked for earlier on in the week when they said i'd have to pay Β£25 for (delivery and activation fee), i said no. Proceeded the next day to get it sorted and today we got it for free. I am glad i can now use the internet on my phone(had to use hotspot coz it would never connect) and its finally not going down all the time.

After all that our food shopping was delivered so i've put that away, much easier than going to the shop myself.

After that cooking and cleaning.. the usual.

Glad you’ve got the internet sorted and we’ll done for sticking to your guns.

We tried internet shopping for food from Acado, when it came he practically chucked the bags through the door and was off, when we unpacked the bread was at the bottom of one of the bags and completely crushed. We said never again we’d rather shop in person at the supermarket. I can imagine it’s good if you’re a busy mum with kids to sort out though whereas we’ve got all the time in the world.
