So what is on the menu for you this Christmas?

Turkey, goose, duck, beef, pork, chicken or maybe beans on toast.

We are having turkey, we have tried duck and goose before but there is never enough on it. I love to have the turkey around for days just picking at it and making sandwiches etc.,

What are you having?

Chicken, I dislike other meat.

Turkey is horrible and far to dry! Oooo.. I actually like Lamb but it's hit and miss, sometimes it's nice and other times it's not really. I think Chicken is the only real answer for us, unless Cheeky states otherwise. haha!

Not until the past year or so, I hadn't eaten much meat at all!

Dimwit! I eat plenty of burgers but you can't count that, not when I'm speaking about different types and so on. It's only in the past year that I've started eating Lamb, mince beef and so on.

Always a Turkey for us. We only tend to get a little one as it's normally just me, mum, gran and grandad on Christmas Day but as with you tony, we end up picking away at it for days afterwards - having Turkey sandwhiches, and just generally having it with a bit of buffet.

We've been serving Turkey dinners at work for ages now and the more I have to serve them, the more I'm craving my christmas dinner! :)

Its a tradition in our house to have Gwertztraminer wine with our Christmas turkey, my Dad reckoned he was a bit of a connoisseur of wine and he started the tradition, it is now kept by me and our son.

It's a wine that comes from the Alsace region of France which is on the border with Germany, it's not to everyone's taste it has a sort of semi dry taste and is quite flowery but Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without it.

When I had flown the nest and got married my Dad always bought me a bottle of Graham's Late Vintage port too so I always get myself one in his memory, goes down nice after a big dinner. Hic

Seriously though all those dinners sound good, we'll be having Beef Wellington with roast potatoes and the usual veg followed by ice cream & chocolate cake then sleep!!!
