Slocombe 7.5  Calm and assured handling

DKE 7.5 Tremendous thunderbolt off the post and pass to Knowles

Rawls 7 Rekindled good understanding with Lacey, seems a shame Ardley broke the partnership for the playoff final

Lacey 8 Tidy defence but can pass a ball

Miller 6.5 Some dodgy defensive moments but going forward made good use of the ball

Reeves 4 Continual sloppy passing , so many square that were easily read

Doyle 6 Midfield king pin from the back, wise head in extra time

JOB 4.5 generally made no headway offensively. Too slow

Enzio 6.5 One moment of brilliance but generally ambles forwards not looking for the ball.

Wootton 7 Got to be there to score

Effiong 5 Ordinary, not really in the game

Subs

Knowles 6.5

Ruben 8 Touch of quality to take out 2 Solihull defenders to set Wootton up on a plate

Slocombe - 6.5 - Did what he needed to do but despite having a couple of chances, Solihull never really tested him.

DKE - 7.5- Great performance from him. Excellent defensively and tried to get forward. Almost scored a screamer.
Rawlinson - 7.5 - Solid as usual.
Lacey - 8 - Solid, with great pass for the opener.
Miller - 5.5 - I'm not convinced he's a defender. He was all at sea in the opening 10 minutes, but improved thereafter.

Enzio - 7 - Was quite poor up until the opener where he pins the defender and spins him excellently. On a plate for Wootton, too.
Reeves - 4 - Really poor again. Tried another couple of suicide passes into defensive areas, again unpunished. In general his passing was off, and offered nothing in terms of creativity or running forward.

Doyle - 6.5 - I mean he's 39, we're not expecting him to be bombing forward are we? Does what he does and did it well. Passing to statues at times.

JOB - 5 - He was OK, put in one good cross but apart from that anonymous. Can't play with Doyle and Reeves as they are all too slow and lack creativity.

Effiong - 4 - Was excited  by his performance on Saturday, but today's performance was terrible. Absolute statue and when he did get the ball, hadn't a clue what to do with it and lost it more than most.

Wootton - 7 - Part of the two statues for 60 odd minutes. I think BLM tried to topple him at one point. He was in the right place at the right time though, twice.

Subs:

Rordrigues - 7 - Came on to affect the game. Always positive and looking to create something. Held his nerve to square for Wootton.
Knowles - 7 - Provided the legs to run in behind when they were chasing the game. Lovely cut back for Rodrigues.

Just basic marks:

Slocombe - 6.5
Kelly Evans - 6.5
Rawlinson - 6.5
Lacey - 6.5
Miller - 6
Enzio - 5.5
Reeves - 4.5
Doyle - 6.5
O’Brien - 5
Effiong - 4.5
Wootton - 6

Knowles - 6.5
Rodrigues - 7

Great result, poor performance.

The overriding feeling from me is one I've had for a long time - if we attack more, we'll get more points.

I will be the first to admit, the last 15mins clouded my judgment...Must be the first time ever, my marks are above @Elite_pie. I have over egged the defence ratings, Solihulll missed at least 2 golden chances. I blame the whisky

its hard for me to give any ratings as i listened to it on the radio, i was not sure if i would be home when the game kicked off so i never got the stream but reeves might just need a rest. he sounded like he struggled to do what we know he can. miller always seemed to be mentioned when notts attacked but until the later stages neither team shown that extra bit of quality to break the deadlock.

the subs seem to be timed to perfection and made all the difference.

i hope that they would tire and they did, nice to see the ratings.

Thanks for these, have a like :)

Like Liam I tuned in on the radio. I feared the worst with the line-up, as we've already seen that JOB, Doyle and Reeves together doesn't work in a three- or four-man midfield. But we unlocked them in the end, the goals were quality and we've got the points against a side that must be a strong tip for the play-offs.
