Ratings Yeovil v Notts

Slocombe 6 No fault for the goals

Ellis 5.5 The best of the the back 3

Rawlinson 5 Dependable defensively

Turner 2.5 Sorry, missed with a free header and then concedes a stupid penalty.

Enzio 6.5 A wonder goal when we needed it, much better 2nd half in a more forward position

Barnett 4.5 Lost his man for their first goal. Disappointing ball in forward positions

Doyle 4 dawdled on edge of area. Tried too many deep balls

Reeves 4.5 On e deflected shot but not as influential

JOB 4 slowness of midfield personified with these 3

Wootton 5.5 Should have scored that winner but generally well marshalled. Good dummy for ruben

Effiong 4.5 if good work was Agana esque, out wide back to goal. No goal threat again

Subs

Knowles 5 Apart from that break and cross, close control let him down most of the game

DKE 5.5 more comfortable and effective as a RB

Ruben 6.5 Read the play well to score.

@Feral FoxI see on the other later thread, you would have given Turner a negative rating. The only negative rating justification is how close can you be to Guy Branston's 45 minutes in a Notts shirt.

After fearing the worst when I saw the teamsheet with his name on it, the game confirmed it. He sits there with Guy B as an absolute nightmare. I'm sure 3 or 4 years ago he was a solid defender, but I can run faster than him and I can't remember the last time I ran anywhere! Shocking turning circle/turn of pace. Shocking decision making skills.

But then again, he's a mate of Ardleys so it wouldn't surprise me to see him back next week.

In Guy B's defence, he always looked fairly solid when he visited with Rotherham (remember him scoring against us too). The only memory of Turner I have prior to him signing for us is him getting sent off for Mansfield for committing a crude foul while getting skinned. I don't doubt his motivation and passion and I'd love him to really show us what he can do with a run of games, but he gives me kittens whenever he's in the team.

I think for a run in the team...we're about 5 years to late. His legs never looked great speed and turn wise and every time he steps onto the field now you just think...oh dear...
