  1. Today, I had a late start, but now things are good. I won't go into that, but I am hoping for a normal return to things. Despite my late start, I feel happy with how I have used my time and it's been very productive. Mostly all to do with PON, but that's to be granted. Tomorrow, I won't be going to Sutton. I couldn't afford it due to the expensive travel. I will be spending my time updating PON, social media and doing some more illistrations, along with general art. My brother has mentioned having a walk, but I think he'll cancel due to the weather. It's not looking promising but as always, I will call by my dads and stay with him for awhile. I like our chats, even if whoever comes with me tends to sit in silence.
  2. I would be inclined to agree; I think our owners are very ambitious and won't rest until we are playing at a higher level. It's interesting to see Dave's thoughts on this. I am also glad that he is covering Notts as I like his style.
  3. It looks to me like the club has deleted the tweet. Doesn't return anything, I tried to locate the tweet myself too but I can't. Maybe it didn't happen in the end?
  4. I watched a video where the Sutton United manager praised Notts. He spoke about how their club are adapting and improving the stadium, especially their pitch and all these other changes. He said that Luke Williams has one of the best squads in terms of depth that Sutton will be adapting to how they feel we will play and aim to put on a strong performance. He seemed a very decent manager, a lot better than I expected. Very quirky and old-fashioned in a way that it was hard not to like him.
  5. Good luck to Curtis Thompson, I appreciate his skills and hope he manages to cement his position in starting most games for them. He's a good player, so it's hard to knock Cheltenham, but I am a little surprised he joined them. I hope they do well with Curtis.
  6. I respect their opinion and only time will tell, I would have though Charlie and Kelvin would be a bit more optamisic about Notts considering but they have their thoughts.
  7. Today, so far I have only eaten once, and I don't feel very hungry either. I would shame a picture of what I eat, but it tastes a lot nicer than it looks. It's basically tomato, pasta with cheese sauce and herbs.
  8. I really liked the first part. You can see how experienced David Jackson is when interviewing; even his questions have that professionalism you would expect. I'm not sure how close the other two people were, but they spoke ever so quiet and didn't ask the best of questions. I'm not trying to be funny. I just noticed the difference from when David finished to the others asking their questions. Does anyone know who they are? There was one called Luke...
  9. @Fan of Big Tone I really didn't want to laugh, as I felt the same way, but your comment was funny. I remember in 1999, my grandfather driving to Asda in Radford. On the radio (BBC Nottingham) it mentioned that the council and both clubs were in talks with ground sharing. My grandfather pulled over near Wilkson Street, asked me to pass him a paper (Nottingham Post) and proceeded to read the sports section. When I asked if he thought Notts would go ahead and groundshare, his reply was "not in my lifetime if I can help it". He then tossed the paper to the passenger side, groaned and didn't speak until we were back home. I later found out that the ground sharing thing had been floating around every so often, when someone would bring it up. In fact, I remember it reoccurring in the early 2000s when we weren't sure what would happen to Meadow Lane due to our financial struggles. This is someone who used to watch both teams back in the day, until Forest developed their violent side and over the years I have heard many stories about that. I think there's a clipping of this in my grandfather's scrap book; he used to keep one with historial clipping.
  10. I love Stall, he gives great interviews, and he just knows what to say. I'm really hoping to be able to listen to the radio coverage, even if it means I have to sub to the iFollow service. I believe it will be worth it to hear the game as I am in attendance, whilst balancing taking pictures before, in the middle and after games. If I try to snag a reaction to a goal, I will have a delay in my ear to react. It's a brilliant interview, it's good to see Nick has come back refreshed from his holiday.
  11. It was very short, good interviews, but it wasn't a pre-view by any stretch of the imagination. It was more of a catch-up In the past. Colin Hazelden has done them in less than 2 minutes with a brilliant insight into the league.
  12. Kwame Thomas the player who had more fame with us coming off the pitch, than he did on it. Very disappointing time here, but it's more due to the people who deemed him good enough when he simply wasn't.
  13. However, some else is likely to be assuming the next name on the list and so therefore it's not exactly true. It's just unknown who that player will be just yet.
  14. In general, it sucks. We've been planning to do something as a family and every day so far has been unpleasant. I think we'll have to make things as it is, but it's difficult to complain knowing that Italy is having floods and terrible issues. Along with other nations that are experiencing issues. It really is a terrible year.
  15. I would love to be able to give my thoughts and analysis on this, like I did in the past, but I don't think it's fair to go on it based on the friendly games. I would assume them to be set up quite defensively, but not so much that it limits their attack. They have done quite well since gaining their Football League status, but as mentioned some of their better players have left. I would say that Will Randall would be useful as someone to give his thoughts on how he feels they will play, but it's most likely going to be adapted and changed. Jodi Jones does do well coming on from off the bench. I would have Adam Chicksen and Aaron Nemane on the wing. John Bostock, Matt Palmer and David Mcgoldrick in midfield. I hope Macaulay Langstaff is at the top. With the back consisting of Kyle Cameron, Aden Baldwin and Richard Brindley as the back three.
  16. Wouldn't it just. It's good to read this, we do have a squad that is strong, but much of our results will go down to ensuring we keep the ahead in games and not slipping up. I think we'll be up there, certainly I hope so. The Guardian is usually the bearer of bad news, but this is good.
  17. Blackburn Rovers 2-0 West Bromwich Albion Plymouth Argyle 0-1 Huddersfield Town Carlisle United 3-1 Fleetwood Town (Joker) Shrewsbury Town 2-2 Cheltenham Town Morecambe 0-1 Walsall Tranmere Rovers 1-0 Barrow Aldershot 0-0 Oxford City Gateshead 1-3 Boreham Wood
  18. I need to find more time to catch up with watching these, Paul represents the club fantastically well. It's a difficult thing to do, talking and putting it out there. His compsure of going live is incredible. He's a very good host, who can transition talking points over well. I'll add this to my list to listen to when I am doing my art or something that doesn't involve my eyes.
  19. I was wondering if anyone would be up for posting about their exercise and weight loss? I am lifting my exercise as I want to get down a few more pounds. I'm doing alright, but I want to try to encourage more positive loses. I will be going back to mostly drinking water for the most periods, except orange and lemonade for when I eat. I have already been on a sort of weight loss journey, but life got in the way of me taking it as seriously as I should. Would anyone be interested in doing me on here, discussing and updating their health progress? It doesn't need to be about weight; it could just be running and being active.
  20. I'll keep my eyes peeled for it, things like this really helps to further the excitement of a new season and with how Notts did last season, along with this squad. I am almost in outer space! It's going to be great to be back in EFL. I can't wait to see how we do in League Two. COYP!
  21. It's a cracking deal for those overseas wanting to feel less like an exile. @CliftonMagpie I have always said the same thing, but when YouTube and social media has it, nobody would pay. Last time I subscribed, I felt the service was undervalued by the best bits being on YouTube and the extended interviews were ramblings or uninteresting parts.
  22. I would say it's a good move, it's a quality player at this level that will only improve. He's great going forward, as he was here and defensively he was okay. We've had many players who have made the odd mistake but are still valuable squad players. And, then there's Richard Duffy.
  23. @super_ram It's due to the name being "Fan of Big Tone" and not our mystery person's real first name. I hope @Fan of Big Tone didn't put the post address "In my armchair, NG......
  24. I have never been a fan of his work, and on top of that, his controversial history is not something I want to discuss in detail. However, I find it quite irritating that the WWE politics give attention to someone who acknowledge this, when others will be inclined to feel as I do. Yet they don't honour people like China..
  25. Regardless of his injuries, he would be a good signing for Notts and would be useful on either wing back positions. If it's true he's training with us, it might not mean that he will sign. We could be doing him a favour, although I do hope that he does. Was it Bobby Zamora who trained with us before? Fans thought he would be signing despite being quite old and having been retired. If it wasn't Zamora, it's someone similar as people were mixed on Twitter over the possibility of the signing. I do remember comments about the age and fact the player had been retired for a while.
