  1. I don’t usually comment when I vote on these, but I’m sticking my neck out this time. I thought Kelle Roos looked very good, and if this means he’s starting to settle in, it’s a positive sign. He came across as commanding, with a tall frame and a calm way of handling the ball. That sort of presence can help build confidence in the team around him. He also made some good saves. Even if the best one didn’t count, it showed he was switched on and determined not to let anything past him.
  2. I hope Notts keep showing signs of getting better. There’s a good team in there, but they need to stop dropping points in games like this. It’s a big test for both sides, especially at this point in the season. Bromley have started well, while Notts are still finding their feet. That said, Notts are beginning to settle. They’re not quite firing yet, but you can see the pieces starting to come together. It feels like one of those matches that could go either way. I wouldn’t be surprised if it ends 2-2.
  3. Welcome to the Pride of Nottingham! Enjoy the vibes and discussions.
  4. I really appreciate Jack’s honesty in this interview. Scoring your first professional goal is massive, but his focus on the team and getting results speaks volumes. It’s clear he’s not just thinking about personal milestones but contributing to the overall success of the squad. That’s the kind of player you want in a promotion-chasing side.
  5. The club has signed good players to help Stuart Maynard, and he shows some promising signs. So far, he seems aware of who should be coming on. Some might not be inclined to give him credit, but I left Meadow Lane impressed on Sunday.
  6. Luke Williams has done much to gain the respect of his colleagues. While I had a liking for Ian Burchnall and thought he was a good manager for us, I felt he placed his own influence above those who assisted him. It wasn’t quite on the level of Jamie Fullerton, but there were some minor similarities.
  7. There’s a fresh candour in Luke Williams’ comments, which is quite heartening. It lays bare the challenges of pre-season training and highlights the vital role of a prudent manager in delivering a fit and competitive squad for the season. I only wish speedy recovery for Aidan Baldwin and Junior Morias. Managing their progress during this crucial period will be decisive in ensuring they contribute their best during our competitive games.
  8. This is a brilliant piece of business by Notts County. Jodi Jones is a top-class player who can make a difference in any game. He was a standout performer during his loan spell and I’m delighted he’s staying with us for longer. He’s got a lot of talent and potential and he’ll be a fan favourite for sure.
  9. It was good to see both teams playing so openly, I do feel the conditions impacted the game but I have no questions about the effort put into the game. The quick thinking of Jim O'Brien made all the difference, that cross came from nowhere. Brilliant win.
  10. I think limiting interactions people in the UK is at a must know, most should be fine but it could effect loved ones.
  11. Very good job capturing the fans! ????????
  12. A win would be nice, the points are needed but I have this belief that away games where be will the vital points will come from. The pressure to perform well at home seems quite high at the moment. I think the score will be 1-1.
  13. I don't think Jon Stead is the reason why Notts loses games, if he's 100% fit he has to start. If he isn't, then Neal Ardley can afford to give him further rest by keeping him as an option on the bench. This is one of the games I felt Notts would do very well in.
  14. A win would come at a good time, breaking up the 2 defeats would be important to fighting relegation.
  15. Good luck with the raffle, I am pleased to see PON doing what it must to continue its operation.
  16. I don't expect a win, although it would be nice. I just want to see the team putting in another steady performance because if that happens results will start to come our way. It's important the players focus and work hard first and foremost.
  17. Notts have looked good under Neal Ardley when keeping the ball down, I think knowing where to attack really helps the club and so far I think this has been improved. The only criticism I would give is the lack on touch line management when things are not working. Today against Grimsby Town this is very important. Sort of the weaknesses and grow in strength.
  18. The way Notts tends to play, I would settle for one goal and to lead the game for at least 10 minutes.
  19. I hope the players will want to impress the new manager which could make things more exciting, if 4-5 players lifted their game I would say we stand a very good chance of winning.
  20. I'm going to say a 1-1 draw. Notts could be poor right now but I think Morcambe will concede, will Notts prevent them scoring two? That's a questions for me.
  21. I am curious as to why Steve Chettle is taking charge and not Paul Hart, where is Paul these days? If Chettle can get Notts playing well enough to win I don't mind him taking temporary charge but if he does well enough, I would worry he would land the job and then people might end up wanting him out due to his inexperience.
  22. If it worked people would be praising Kewell, I respect the fact he tried something that failed and he's held is hands up. That's only right! Let's not jump the gun.
  23. I still don't know what to expect, I worry that they will want it more and be determined to bounce back after their recent upset. They don't seem a bad side, just lacking that quality to make them stand out but on the day either team could win. I imagine this could easily be a draw with how each other have been playing.
  24. 2-1 home win is my prediction. It's important Notts tries to keep the ball down but I think Jon Stead will get a brace.
  25. If Notts can play as they did against Stevenage chances will come, I am more concerned about how many goals the club has shipped and I do wonder how much the defence can improve the actual issue. Low confidence and poor performances can impact any side. Notts needs all the players to focus on improvement and just support each other better. I can't see a win I am afraid. Sorry.
