I hope Notts keep showing signs of getting better. There’s a good team in there, but they need to stop dropping points in games like this. It’s a big test for both sides, especially at this point in the season. Bromley have started well, while Notts are still finding their feet.
That said, Notts are beginning to settle. They’re not quite firing yet, but you can see the pieces starting to come together.
It feels like one of those matches that could go either way. I wouldn’t be surprised if it ends 2-2.

Notts have looked good under Neal Ardley when keeping the ball down, I think knowing where to attack really helps the club and so far I think this has been improved. The only criticism I would give is the lack on touch line management when things are not working.
Today against Grimsby Town this is very important.
Sort of the weaknesses and grow in strength.

I am curious as to why Steve Chettle is taking charge and not Paul Hart, where is Paul these days?
If Chettle can get Notts playing well enough to win I don't mind him taking temporary charge but if he does well enough, I would worry he would land the job and then people might end up wanting him out due to his inexperience.

I still don't know what to expect, I worry that they will want it more and be determined to bounce back after their recent upset.
They don't seem a bad side, just lacking that quality to make them stand out but on the day either team could win. I imagine this could easily be a draw with how each other have been playing.

If Notts can play as they did against Stevenage chances will come, I am more concerned about how many goals the club has shipped and I do wonder how much the defence can improve the actual issue.
Low confidence and poor performances can impact any side.
Notts needs all the players to focus on improvement and just support each other better. I can't see a win I am afraid. Sorry.

I have been to all the home games so far this season and I am scratching my head thinking how have we been so poor? Notts have started well but its as soon as the first goal ends up the back of the net.
There's not enough fight or desire shown.
I want to see a convincing performance by Notts because I know the squad is more than good enough for this division.

Right, the positives... Well that's one of the long trips done. Erm, Enzio can bang them in when he gets the chance. And; that's it.
Maybe I'll switch the England game on, they're good at the minute I bet they're winning... Oh...
It's looking bleak for Notts right now.

Good game, entertaining and plenty of goals.
I would say if Notts hadn't conceded three in the last game, we wouldn't have to worry but as @upthepies mentioned it will take a knock on the team morale. The defenders will be low on confidence and keepers have the hardest task of lifting themselves.
Good performance but there is concerns.

I am pleased each time Notts got pegged back that they managed to take the lead again, it was a good performance by them and the formation change could have made it hard for Notts to defend. I don't really know, but I do feel it needs to improve.
My comment which seems to have taken offence to one member was posted immediately after they scored, I was very frustrated but I would defend my view point.
I don't feel I deserved to be abused verbally like that and it was more than a little out of hand as @Fan of Big Tone would suggest.
I won't post simple as that.
Apology or no apology I wouldn't accept it.

Take it from experience the comment is nothing more than a childish reaction, ignore it. Don't let a negative comment like that stop either of you from posting.

Who is your Man of the Match v Crawley?
in Match Talk
I don’t usually comment when I vote on these, but I’m sticking my neck out this time. I thought Kelle Roos looked very good, and if this means he’s starting to settle in, it’s a positive sign.
He came across as commanding, with a tall frame and a calm way of handling the ball. That sort of presence can help build confidence in the team around him.
He also made some good saves. Even if the best one didn’t count, it showed he was switched on and determined not to let anything past him.
