  1. Ollie Norburn's enthusiasm is infectious. With his help, we can definitely aim higher this season.
  2. He always looks fed up and very serious. I think he could be a decent enough assistant if he puts in the effort and doesn’t just lean on his name.
  3. Imagine the egg on the faces of those who didn’t like Maynard even when he was doing well for us, and were calling for him to go after just one defeat, if Joao Alves ends up getting the job. 🤣
  4. Hello, welcome to Pride of Nottingham @SRK1862.
  5. welcome to pride of nottingham and the notts fan base @Aw Saint. I think its a kit thing with puma being notoriously slow, but they tend to be worth the wait. Promotion would be nice!
  6. I think it’s the process of talking to coaches, other clubs wanting to appoint their own managers, and the board making arrangements before finalising anything. I’m not worried, but I find it interesting to see what people think.
  7. It’s a great showcase for some players who could attract interest from professional clubs. A good read.
  8. I go straight to the game, so I only set off when it’s close to the ground opening. I do enjoy walking around the KOP, seeing who I know and checking if people have turned up for the match. There is a social side to the games that I like, but the football is always the main event, even if it’s not the prettiest.
  9. I won’t be able to go to the game, but it’s great to see it happening again. SV Darmstadt 98 could end up being a good connection for us. Maybe one day, I’ll get to see us play at their ground. It’s a great trip for the fans. It will be expensive, but for those who can make it, it’ll be worth it.
  10. The EFL is a big step up, but some players just have a natural instinct for scoring goals. Putting in the hard work and making life difficult for defenders can be enough to succeed. Maybe, in a few years, Jake Tabor will be playing at that level.
  11. Glad to see us bringing in hungry young players. If he’s anything like Abbott, we’re in for a treat this season.
  12. He seems like a solid addition to the squad. If he puts in the effort, he could be a valuable player for the team. Hopefully, he settles in quickly and makes a positive impact.
  13. Seeing the site now, it feels like a big step forward, and everything looks much nicer. Some things might be missing for now, but the discussions are the most important part. I like how topics update, and you can see who’s in them at the moment. Build the live activity, and fans should recognise the site’s true potential.
  14. I hope so. Whoever comes in needs full support from our fans. We won’t get anywhere without that, but I’m happy to welcome Dr David Rhodes.
  15. It's a good move, but why now? Has the club looked back at last season and decided this is the best way to improve the squad? With a club doctor and physio, it could give us an advantage over other League Two teams. Still, I do wonder why we didn’t invest when Stuart Maynard needed support.
  16. Easy vote for me, David McGoldrick but Alex Bass, George Abbott and Conor Grant played very well.
  17. That grill made him more money than boxing ever did! Amazing how he reinvented himself after the ring. Rest in Peace...
  18. Happy Birthday @super_ram. 🎉🎈
  19. Absolutely love how Platt has settled in. The defence looks miles better, and his leadership is clear to see. Great signing!
  20. Morecambe win was comfortable, but we need to be sharper in front of goal. We won’t get as many chances at Vale Park.
  21. Yeovil? That could be a good chance for him to establish himself as a number one and move on. I wish Aiden Stone the best with the move.
  22. It doesn't look like a football stand. It doesn't even look appealing, and I don't think it's the right design for a club, even if they are Welsh.
  23. I wish him well. It doesn't sound good.
  24. Mike Williamson shot himself in the foot, not once but twice. His managerial career, at least in the EFL, will be on hold now. If he gets hired by anyone in the league, it will be a major shock.
  25. Nick Tsaroulla’s first goal and what a time to get it! He’s been brilliant all season, well deserved!
