  1. Hard-fought match, and Maynard’s right, it wasn’t pretty but we got the job done.
  2. Bassy was outstanding as always. Without him, we’d have conceded and lost. Defensively, we put in a solid performance, but Alex Bass made the biggest difference with his contribution to the win.
  3. Football isn’t always exciting to watch, but getting the result and keeping a clean sheet against a good team are always positives, in my opinion, that shouldn't be criticised.
  4. That was a tough match, but a deserved three points in the end.
  5. Glad to hear we're almost back to a full squad. That'll help a lot with consistency.
  6. Welcome back, Rod! Looking forward to seeing you on the pitch. Let’s keep that clean sheet and push for promotion!
  7. Good to see Maynard and the club handling this with care. Cedwyn’s health must come first, no matter how long it takes.
  8. Absolutely buzzing with how we came back again. Shows we never give up, especially away from home! Loved McGoldrick’s composure.
  9. You can tell Abbott’s loving the challenge here, that assist was a beauty! Would love to see him score soon.
  10. I had no doubts about who I was voting for after the game: George Abbott. I think he put in one of his best performances for us so far. He was key in winning the ball back and pressing Chesterfield. It was an excellent game by Abbott. He didn't look like someone who hadn't played in big games before.
  11. Frustrating match to watch. Missed chances and some tough calls, but the lads will learn and come back stronger.
  12. It's a derby, anything can happen, but with Rod and David back, I feel much better about our chances this weekend.
  13. Great to see Matt back in the starting XI! His leadership is so important, and we need him in top form for these big games.
  14. These are very good, @Chris. Well done and thank you for sharing the Faces of PON. I look forward to seeing the gallery when you take them.
  15. Kellan Gordon stood out for me. He had a tough time dealing with Port Vale’s heavy marking, but he did well to get crosses in. Dan Crowley also faced heavy marking.
  16. Sounds like deja vu from the Gillingham game. We really need to start capitalising on our chances!
  17. I feel disappointed that Notts never really tested the Port Vale keeper. We forced him to make one or two good saves, but those efforts went straight at him.
  18. Looking forward to the match! It’ll be interesting to see how we adapt against Port Vale's style. Maynard always has a plan!
  19. Looking forward to seeing how Jatta performs. If he keeps scoring, we’ve got a real shot at staying near the top.
  20. Maynard’s focus on squad depth is great to see. Injuries are inevitable, but we’ve got cover this year.
  21. I'm quite anticipating the clash this weekend. Notts County has shown resilience lately, and it will be fascinating to see how they match up against Port Vale's form. Fingers crossed for a strong performance!
  22. Really pleased to see Gordon making the most of his position at Notts. His familial support is clearly boosting his confidence!
  23. Alex Bass is the obvious choice. He was outstanding, and his saves were crucial for us to keep the 2-0 win. His performance made all the difference.
  24. It was a great win and result. I’m pleased Notts got the 3 points on the road. Jatta and Robertson sealed it for us.
  25. Those saves from Bass were top-notch. Definitely a man of the match.
