  1. Great insights from Joe! I completely agree! Tranmere’s new signings have certainly stirred up a lot of enthusiasm among their supporters. Let’s hope they can translate that excitement into a strong start to the season. As a Notts fan, it’s always interesting to see how other teams are shaping up. COYP
  2. Go on, Team GB, let’s aim for the gold!
  3. This might be an excellent match for both him and the club. Solihull Moors boasts a respectable team and organisation. Their supporters should be thrilled with this development.
  4. DeadlyMacca > NiftyNick Farewell to DeadlyMacca, previously known as DeadlyDennis, and a warm welcome to NiftyNick. Even if Nick Tsaroulla departs in the future, I plan to retain this. I believed it would be nice to select a current player to demonstrate my support. I’ve decided to let go of the ‘Deadly’ part, as I felt it was time for a change.
  5. It’s touching to see how Ian and his daughter still find joy in match days despite Wendy’s illness. Football really does create lasting memories.
  6. Mate, don't be too hard on yourself. We all face tough times and it's okay to step back if you need to. Your channel has brought joy to many, including myself. Focus on your well-being, and when you're ready, we'll be here waiting.
  7. Notts could do numerous things to provide younger players with a better opportunity to become squad members and future first team players. Securing good loan deals is a start, but if they don’t compete against skilled players or get a proper chance in our own team, they will always end up being let go. Coaching can assist players in preparing for and being ready for first team football. Notts needs to nurture talent and strive to help more youngsters reach their potential while at the club.
  8. It’s a pre-season friendly match, and they don’t always go as planned. As a team, they are not a team we would have been familiar with. No amount of planning could alter this, but I do concur that the changes to the team likely contributed to the final score. I would prefer to see players given a fair chance in games like this, rather than winning 1-0 or drawing.
  9. Hello, welcome to PON @Mark Holland.
  10. Welcome to PON @lucy80.
  11. Welcome to PON @jake008.
  12. Please hear me out completely. He’s a completely different type of striker compared to Macaulay Langstaff. However, given the opportunity, I believe he possesses superior technique in terms of ball placement and finishing opportunities. Jatta is a robust player who can retain the ball and flourish even without support. Macca, on the other hand, was very much a traditional centre forward with a variety of skills at his disposal. Jatta has a natural knack for finding space, which is beneficial as it allows him to integrate himself into the game even with limited ball service. Macca wasn’t as fortunate in this regard, but his hard work compensated for the fact that he needed more opportunities to come his way.
  13. I’m uncertain, but it appears that most fouls these days are cynical challenges. They seem to be committed with the intention of preventing teams from playing or disrupting their momentum.
  14. I’m not obliged to alter it, but I’d rather switch to something different. I might not opt for a former player either. I enjoy supporting a current player with the name, but they sometimes move on a bit too swiftly. Not that I didn’t anticipate Macaulay Langstaff departing sooner rather than later. He’s certainly braver than I am. I wouldn’t want to change that often. KingVanaramaPie was a solid choice, just the wrong league now. Opting for the managers has doomed him to repeat it. I wouldn’t want Macca to think that I’m targeting him or wishing him ill, so that won’t be an option. ????
  15. There are some lovely places to stroll around. Sadly, people tend to concentrate on parks and other public spaces. Some areas that should be safe for walking don’t appear to be, which is unfortunate.
  16. We’ve ticked the box and reached the final. Let’s keep believing! It’s coming home!!
  17. Colin Slater’s harsh remarks are not likely to win him respect from Tony Hackworth. This kind of frankness is something that’s missing from today’s journalists, who often seem too eager to please the players.
  18. Dutch supporters are grumbling, claiming that Saka allegedly used both hands to handle the ball. However, the video evidence doesn’t support their claim. It’s surprising to see them react so strongly, much like mixing milk with orange juice, but they’re expressing their disappointment nonetheless.
  19. He has the potential to improve and ticks the boxes. Younger fans could look up to him because of his great background in football. I'm not sure why he's on trial with us unless we're still thinking of signing someone more experienced.
  20. Very poor signing. He might do better later, but for two years he did nothing of note. It's best we paid up and got rid of him. He was rubbish when given a chance.
  21. Be honest, penalty decisions have gone mad in recent years. That wasn't a penalty in my eyes. I don't think it would've been brought back for a free kick. He got the shot away, it didn't have any impact, and he finished it. We were very lucky to get the decision in our favour, but I won't complain.
  22. It's time to change my username, but I'm not sure what to choose. Should I keep or drop the "Deadly" part? Here are some ideas: Deadly Jatta, Deadly Scott, Deadly Jones, Deadly Crowley, DeadlyNotts, DeadlyNCFC. I'm unsure. Any thoughts?
  23. I'm still disappointed with Notts. I believe they used Macca as our captain to boost season ticket sales. But I'm happier for Macaulay Langstaff. He deserves it, and I'm still a big Notts fan.
  24. Is the roof closed now? They showed scenes of the rain pouring onto the pitch. Some of our players warming up look soaked.
  25. I think he's better than Eastleigh, but he's signed with them and hopefully does well. He's a good player, and I appreciate his time at Notts.
