  1. Welcome to PON @lucy80.
  2. Welcome to PON @jake008.
  3. Please hear me out completely. He’s a completely different type of striker compared to Macaulay Langstaff. However, given the opportunity, I believe he possesses superior technique in terms of ball placement and finishing opportunities. Jatta is a robust player who can retain the ball and flourish even without support. Macca, on the other hand, was very much a traditional centre forward with a variety of skills at his disposal. Jatta has a natural knack for finding space, which is beneficial as it allows him to integrate himself into the game even with limited ball service. Macca wasn’t as fortunate in this regard, but his hard work compensated for the fact that he needed more opportunities to come his way.
  4. I’m uncertain, but it appears that most fouls these days are cynical challenges. They seem to be committed with the intention of preventing teams from playing or disrupting their momentum.
  5. I’m not obliged to alter it, but I’d rather switch to something different. I might not opt for a former player either. I enjoy supporting a current player with the name, but they sometimes move on a bit too swiftly. Not that I didn’t anticipate Macaulay Langstaff departing sooner rather than later. He’s certainly braver than I am. I wouldn’t want to change that often. KingVanaramaPie was a solid choice, just the wrong league now. Opting for the managers has doomed him to repeat it. I wouldn’t want Macca to think that I’m targeting him or wishing him ill, so that won’t be an option.
  6. There are some lovely places to stroll around. Sadly, people tend to concentrate on parks and other public spaces. Some areas that should be safe for walking don’t appear to be, which is unfortunate.
  7. We’ve ticked the box and reached the final. Let’s keep believing! It’s coming home!!
  8. Colin Slater’s harsh remarks are not likely to win him respect from Tony Hackworth. This kind of frankness is something that’s missing from today’s journalists, who often seem too eager to please the players.
  9. Dutch supporters are grumbling, claiming that Saka allegedly used both hands to handle the ball. However, the video evidence doesn’t support their claim. It’s surprising to see them react so strongly, much like mixing milk with orange juice, but they’re expressing their disappointment nonetheless.
  10. He has the potential to improve and ticks the boxes. Younger fans could look up to him because of his great background in football. I'm not sure why he's on trial with us unless we're still thinking of signing someone more experienced.
  11. Very poor signing. He might do better later, but for two years he did nothing of note. It's best we paid up and got rid of him. He was rubbish when given a chance.
  12. Be honest, penalty decisions have gone mad in recent years. That wasn't a penalty in my eyes. I don't think it would've been brought back for a free kick. He got the shot away, it didn't have any impact, and he finished it. We were very lucky to get the decision in our favour, but I won't complain.
  13. It's time to change my username, but I'm not sure what to choose. Should I keep or drop the "Deadly" part? Here are some ideas: Deadly Jatta, Deadly Scott, Deadly Jones, Deadly Crowley, DeadlyNotts, DeadlyNCFC. I'm unsure. Any thoughts?
  14. I'm still disappointed with Notts. I believe they used Macca as our captain to boost season ticket sales. But I'm happier for Macaulay Langstaff. He deserves it, and I'm still a big Notts fan.
  15. Is the roof closed now? They showed scenes of the rain pouring onto the pitch. Some of our players warming up look soaked.
  16. I think he's better than Eastleigh, but he's signed with them and hopefully does well. He's a good player, and I appreciate his time at Notts.
  17. It's raining heavily, and the ground staff seem to be struggling to clear it. I would be surprised if it went ahead; it looks terrible.
  18. If he wanted to leave, as it seemed, then it's his choice. When a player's time at a club ends, it can be sad, but he has to do what's best for himself. Careers are short, even if you avoid injuries.
  19. I'm not sure if the England match will go ahead or if it might be delayed.
  20. I'm still upset about the decision and timing, but I do think we've had a great time watching Macaulay Langstaff play for Notts.
  21. Gutted to see Langstaff leave Notts County but wishing him all the best at Millwall!
  22. He’s a promising player and I wish him the best. It’s understandable when a young player leaves, but it’s different when it’s the newly appointed club captain. No one should be upset about this sale. The situation with Macca, however, I can understand.
  23. This is a massive own goal by Notts. It’s not the proper way to handle the sale of a player. Macaulay Langstaff should never have been appointed as the captain. The club made those sales pushes, and now we are left with nothing but negativity due to this poor management.
  24. Best of luck to Lucien! He's got great potential and I'm sure he'll shine at Norwich.
  25. How does letting go of canteen staff and other employees help Manchester United allocate more funds for their first team? The weekly wages of their lowest-paid player could likely cover a month’s salary for all these workers.
