Match Discussion: Game 7 - The Dons (A)
I am not as worried. I think if we defend well and don’t make it easy for them, we will create chances. It’s just about making sure we hit the target enough. However good MK Dons are, if we get in our stride, I think they will struggle. It’s just a case of whether they let us or if we work hard enough. I think their team is pretty average.

Notts County Secures Top Spot in League Two with 3-1 Win Over Accrington Stanley
Incredible game, hands down to the team! With such odds against us, the boys really showed grit and determination. Top of the league, baby!
-
Match Discussion: Game 6 - The 'Owd Reds (H)
I didn’t think Accrington played all that well, they moved the ball around but looked clueless when it came to creating chances. So many of their efforts were just pot luck efforts, which could have been used far more effectively. Thankfully for us, they were clueless but we allowed them back into the game, that free kick stunned us when the header went in. After that, we looked nervous and very much in need of a second goal. Notts did very well to cope with some of their antics, I hate seeing teams timewaste when the game is level. It just shows how scared they are to keep playing. They did whatever they could to break the game up, which the referee seemed clueless to spot.

Notts County Secures Third Win in a Row with 3-1 Victory Over Accrington Stanley
Amazing win! Langstaff with the brace was the highlight. Top of the league, feels great being a Notts supporter right now!

Match Discussion: Game 6 - The 'Owd Reds (H)
Either team could win on their day. If both teams perform their best, it will be an entertaining game and one that should showcase the quality we have. I think Accrington could easily miss out on the playoffs, but only by a few places. They are a good team, but they lack the goal scorer they had in Paul Mullin. None of their current strikers are players I would say could make our starting line-up, nor would I want them. I think there are only a few players of theirs that would fit our system. They work incredibly well together and their threat is mostly from midfield. If we keep them quiet, Notts will benefit from it massively.

Notts County’s Head Coach Luke Williams on Eliminating Errors and Improving Efficiency
If we are creating chances to win games, then we must be performing well, and that should dispel any doubts. I understand that mistakes happen; everyone makes them. If this group of players did not make mistakes, I am sure some of them would be playing at a higher level. However, as Luke Williams says, coaching the mistakes out of them is the way forward. It will help make games more manageable, so if we encounter a tight game where a goal could make all the difference, being defensively solid would favour us in getting the points.
-
Match Discussion: Game 4 - Rovers (A)
Some of our fans have been saying that we only beat Doncaster Rovers because they were so poor. Surely, they didn’t go to the match? We may have had a bit of luck at times, but the referee seemed to be on their side. So, Notts still had a lot to do. It was a confident performance in the second half. Even if we didn’t take our feet off the gas, someone out there would complain.

Macaulay Langstaff: ‘Proud Moment’ to Score First Football League Goals
It was never a concern, those on social media calling him are the usual suspects and it is not believed that many of them even attend games. Langstaff has goals in him, he possesses that striker's instinct to put the ball away and he almost turned nothing into something when he got onto the ball which could have seen him score a third. He thrives on chances, so undoubtedly when he gets more, plenty of other goals will come his way.
