  1. Notts County demonstrated remarkable tenacity in their match against MK Dons, coming back from a deficit to earn a well-deserved draw. Kyle Cameron’s goal in the second half was especially noteworthy, as it not only equalised the game but also showcased his leadership skills and value to the team. The Magpies’ defence was also outstanding [bar their goal], making several key interceptions and vital saves. All in all, this was an excellent outcome for Notts County, and they will undoubtedly approach their next game with renewed optimism.
  2. I'm really happy to hear Luke acknowledge the fan support role in their journey. It's an incredible feeling to know that our cheering and support makes a difference.
  3. Appreciating Luton's success story paves the way for our own journey towards such incredible feats. The manager's comparison highlights the profound possibilities within our reach. Importantly, he understands the crucial blend of youth and experience in shaping a strong team. As we are in our first season back in League Two after four years, the anticipation is grand. It's not just about facing the pressure, it’s embracing it, and using it to further our cause. We are ready!
  4. It looks very good, something that would look nice in the main reception of the club.
  5. I hope this game proves that Notts are now established as a League Two team. Accrington Stanley will be intense in their play and approach the game wanting to get the win. I don’t foresee them sitting back. They should get stuck in and I am looking forward to another Saturday at Meadow Lane. It should be a very good game, I agree.
  6. Rawlinson encapsulates this essence with his decisive goal, his commendation of the coaching staff, and his nod to the fans. This match underscored the mettle of Notts County, their grit and determination to make it through challenging matches, one game at a time.
  7. Mike Dean is an idiot. I have watched a couple of interviews with him, where he just becomes argumentative or defensive. If he’s acknowledging the mistake, he doesn’t need to. Yet he shouldn’t act like he thinks he’s smart, having blurted this out during a podcast. He’s not newsworthy, he’s not a celebrity. He’s a former referee that officiated in the Premier League and tried to make games all about himself.
  8. Massively impressed with Bostock. Incredible game management.
  9. Expecting a thrilling game. Notts County's victory over Doncaster Rovers was impressive, especially given their initial loss to Sutton United. Here’s wishing they keep up that momentum.
  10. Brindley is reinforcing the sense of determination and unity within the team, which is vital for Notts County's success in League Two. Although the change in style from the National League may be challenging, players like Brindley are showing that they can adapt and excel. His positivity regarding his new role in the back three and his commitment to play any position in order to ensure a win for the team is truly commendable. His attitude is precisely the kind that we need in the squad, especially as we strive to make our mark in League Two.
  11. It all depends on how Tranmere Rovers play. If they continue to perform poorly, it might work to Notts’ advantage, but if they try to make a game of it, it could be more difficult. In that case, I would probably take a draw even though I hope for three points.
  12. Not panicking after the first game without a win, that says volumes about our mentality. There's resilience in this team, come what may.
  13. It was a fantastic victory, a very impressive performance. I concur with the observations regarding Notts County gradually finding their stride within the match. I don't intend to come across as negative, but if Doncaster had adhered to their initial approach, we might have ended up with a draw. This is because they didn't tighten up the space that emerged as a result of their attempts to recover in the game. Therefore, while I won't criticise Jim O'Brien or any player for that matter, it's imperative that we eliminate the errors that lead to conceding goals. Furthermore, we need to devise strategies to make the teams we face spread out, instead of remaining in a defensive cluster. The support from all who attended was outstanding, and securing the 3 points was wonderful. I'm absolutely thrilled for Macaulay Langstaff.
  14. These photos capture more than just the enthusiasm of the Notts County fans. They document the essence of belonging part of a football community. The fervent camaraderie, the united cheers, the sheer exhilaration and even the tinge of anxiety, all blend into one potent mix that defines the Notts fan experience.
  15. Luke Williams has adeptly identified the core issue and devised a clear strategy. Concentration and consistency, vital in football, are central to his approach. With meticulous training and ongoing assessment, improvement is highly likely. His hands-on guidance will ensure the team is prepared for Doncaster Rovers. His recognition of fans' significance and their contribution to the team is commendable, enhancing his admirable character. He not only manages but also comprehends the sport's essence, instilling confidence in his leadership.
  16. Strong tactical insights by TheSkipper. The takeaway for me is the need to focus on translating superior possession into goals. On the other hand, reinforcing our defensive line-up would be essential to back up our aggressive gameplay.
  17. Although the draw might not offer the satisfaction of a win, it’s essential to appreciate the efforts and strategy laid out by Williams. The changes he introduced to the line-up showed versatility and a willingness to experiment, which are hallmarks of a forward-thinking manager. Notts demonstrated their game controlling abilities well and with more synchrony in the future, we are sure to watch many better outcomes unfold.
  18. The focus on player fitness and conditioning is paramount in football these days. Williams setting the right tempo with a firm handle on the practice sessions will definitely be beneficial for the Notts County in the long run.
  19. The club is making good progress. The new recruits appear to be settling in well and the coaching is helping to bring out the best in the squad. The focus now is on the upcoming away game against Sutton. It will be interesting to see whether Slocombe or Stone is selected to play. Both are strong choices, but it will be a difficult decision for Williams to make.
  20. I'm thrilled to see Williams praise the team’s performance in their first pre-season friendly. It seems he realises the importance of starting strong and how significantly it can boost the team’s confidence moving forward. Nevertheless, his caution towards reading too much into the results shows fatherly wisdom. It’s a brilliant balance between encouragement and a gentle reminder to stay grounded.
  21. Keeping a healthy competition for places within the squad is vital. Sounds like Williams is on the right track.
  22. I have voted for Jodi Jones because I feel he’s the one who will stick around and help us the most in gaining promotion. He was very good for Coventry City and will hopefully help us achieve our long-awaited return to the Championship one day.
  23. It's incredible how much the Reedtz brothers have done for Notts County in such a short time. They've truly turned the team around both on and off the field, and it's been a pleasure to follow the club throughout the past four years.
  24. Dan Crowley does seem to be the replacement for Ruben Rodrigues, more so than David McGoldrick. However, both give Luke Williams options. It allows us to play DM up top, so it’s a good signing and the squad is almost complete in my eyes.
  25. Forget Ruben Rodrigues - well, not really - but say hello to the Dan Crowley show. I think he will thrive and be exceptional for Notts.
