  1. Matt Crooks went to Rangers as well. Think that's his name.
  2. After the highs of last year, Stanley are back in familiar territory this season i.e. the bottom half of the table. There's a good chance they will be in a relegation battle. Wouldn't surprise me if they got relegated. Our last 3 games at home against them have been draws. I think we'll cruise to a 3-1 win this time around.
  3. What worries me is that physical sides are taking points off Notts. Yeovil's only win was against Notts. Stevenage and Grimsby took points away from Meadow Lane. Notts have to improve on the physical side of things if a promotion challenge is to be mounted. I'm still confident that it will be sorted.
  4. They won 5-2 at home last weekend. Notts are a better side on paper home win for me.
  5. You could listen to Jimmy all day. They don't make them like that anymore.
  6. The majority of B sides lost last night. That's something at least. The standout B side was Norwich. Looks like they are taking the competition seriously, they beat Peterborough 6-1 away from home.
  7. Momentum is beginning to build. Great win today.
  8. Our games at Crawley tend to be low scoring affairs. I don't recall us scoring more than 1 goal at Crawley, but I could be wrong. We won there last season, there's no reason why we can't do so again. I think we are a better team than them, but a point would be acceptable, we need to go on a run of unbeaten games. I'll go for 1-1. Stead to continue his hot streak.
  9. Laing will make a huge difference. Way too good for level.
  10. It got a bit easier as Chelsea were beaten on penalties by London Bees yesterday.
  11. Himself and Chester are dancing around each other since last month. Moore wants the job but hasn't applied for it, Chester want him but want him to apply it seems.
  12. Happy with that. No game is meaningless. Might be enough to get MC the job permanently.
  13. Long trip. Is it the longest away trip of the season? Answers on a postcard or post it here which makes more sense...... 2-1 to Notts I reckon.
  14. Let's see how the players react to what MC and Martin Allen had to say. You'd expect that they can't wait to go out and prove everyone wrong. At least I would if I were them!
  15. Hard to argue with the time for the kids calls by the supporters. I expect Cambridge will win but I'd settle for a gutsy performance.
  16. Not unexpected. Still it's 8 conceded it 2 games. MC has an unenviable task ahead of him.
  17. I'd be surprised if the point total expected was more than 50 points given what MC inherited. I'd give him the job regardless.
  18. Rumour has it that MC has reached his points target. Not sure how true that is. Barnet are very strong at home. I think they'll win tonight. 2-1. I'll actually be at the Hive on April 30th. Going to the Yeovil game with a friend who lives in London. I like going to the Hive, this will be my second visit, although I'll be honest and say I loved Underhill, a throw back to the old days.....
  19. That's horrible. Hope Mum is OK.
  20. They destroyed us at ML. Wanted it way more. Can't see Notts going there and winning. A draw I reckon.
  21. Shocking. Cooper out. A 1 goal win against a bunch of monkey hangers just isn't good enough. Time for Guy Branston to sort this lot out. See what happens when I don't take my meds.....
  22. Any lingering relegation fears are gone. Vital 3 points. Can focus our attention on the takeover now.
  23. No Americans please. They haven't a clue about football. To them it's a franchise and the fans are customers.
  24. Can't see anything other than a home win. Stevenage are average. Notts looking better and better.
